I’m thinking sometime after 3S online drops… maybe sometime in september… 2 weeks after gator gaming’s little crap fest.
I still have to contact my apt complex to see if its cool that I use the common room for this. Also I want to be able to have as many lagless monitors/tvs as possible which could be an issue. I’d also want to make sure the ocala guys can make it. Pretty sure I could get at least a few people from tally to come down.
It would definitely have to be an effort on all our parts… between consoles and monitors… then there are logistical issues. I’d have to see if there’s a bathroom near the common area. Would I have to hide the fact that there’ll be cash prizes? What’s the best way to make sure no one’s shit gets stolen… Gah.
Hm… I can probably make this. Jacksonville isn’t that far of a drive either.
Also, I can’t make the tally tournament in two weeks… a couple things came up on that date.

Also, news on the anime fg front…Vanguard Princess is coming to XLBA/PSN soon lol…no release date yet but it’s coming. Also there is a rumor that Skullgirls could be out by the end of the month so we may be able to do that for Gatorlan.

Do we have enough lagless monitors and equipment? Aren’t Petey and Rob the only ones here with lagless monitors? I have a usable computer monitor, but I doubt it’s near lagless. It might be like the Ocala tournament where we’ll need to use whatever we can get.

Hm… between my 2 crts, my asus and pat’s asus… that should be a decent start… we’ll just have to run a tight ship to make sure things run quickly.
My 35-40 man Double elim Marvel bracket took 2 hours, 2:30 tops at CEO, As much as I’d like a turnout of 40, that may not happen…But thats an estimate of time for how long it’ll take to run through a bracket. And it was on about 4 setups too (No unlocked characters lol)
Yeah, but we’ll have at least 4 monitors. I’m sure I could convince someone else either from here or out of town to bring a setup…

I have a 24" monitor that I’m pretty sure is lagless (I play FG’s on it and don’t notice any issues)
