That would actually be the most hilarious thing ever, 4 red arremers on screen spamming assists for a total of 6 characters on screen at once. On a more serious note, I wouldn’t lose any sleep over people sleeping on him, he doesn’t have anything particularly attention/discussion worthy but I have very little doubt he is gonna be good. If his luminous body hyper actually turns out as good as berserker charge, then that alone would be enough to make him a tad bit silly since… you know… he builds frigging meter in that mode.
His damage seems a little sub-par though, I hope capcom gave him enough tools to pull of crazy resets and shit. I feel thats the direction they were trying go with him.
Ill prolly pair him up with she-hulk or something, hopefully he has a useable assist, I don’t want anything akuma like, just something useable.
Sorry don’t know if this has been asked. When Firebrand activates his level 3, I noticed there’s no timer. Is the level 3 infinite? Invisible timer? Do you have to beat up the small guy for it to stop?
Well, since I’m trying to learn Akuma… Firebrand/Akuma, BFFs? Firebrand controls the skies, Akuma’s Tatsu controls the ground and extends combos. The problem is that Firebrand looks meter hungry, and Akuma really benefits from some good meter to burn beams on. I can do decent non-hyper damage with Akuma, but I think I’ll have to put him on second so that he can have an assist to help me get in. That leaves the anchor part of the team…
Invisible timer.
Akuma is still a great rushdown assist in general, but I don’t see any particular Firebrand favoritism there.
I think FB will go well with felicia and other low assist characters, vjoe, zero, sentinel, and hsien-ko. he has several moves that put him in automatic flight, so having a low assist will allow him to setup hi-lows from flight. vjoe’s slow dhc luminous body will probably allow some retarded combos while allowing meter building. we got a glimpse of his relaunches, and i’m assuming zero can still untechable exchange in ultimate, so those two should be able to get something started. sentinel and hsien-ko go well with everyone, but i suspect fb will have an annoying keepaway flight game with drone/bomb assist. honorable mentions to strider and wolverine, and maybe he’ll have something unique with his G&G partner arthur…or maybe not. 
unfortunately, at this point, we just don’t know much about him, so everything is just pure speculation for now.
Hm only 7 pages lol, I remember everyone being hype and screaming ‘‘Wolverine with wings’’ when the character got revealed, what happened? He looks pretty unique too actually but I guess that doesn’t necc. equal popularity as Nova is talked about a lot. He doesn’t seem bad and/or boring so hm lol.

Well akuma can(or could in vanilla anyway) build 2 bars in one combo, your just gonna have to learn something more than the magic series combo.
Which one of his assists is looking good? The fire carpet type one? Cause other than that, the other two look very situational.
Ground flame I’m going to just call it early and say since it looks to lockdown AND OTG. Well, you can really beat that shit.
Firebrand with molecular shield just sounds so annoying in my head. I think missiles is overrated, and FB looks like he can control the skies all by himself. People sleep on those active frames of Doom-y, once the rocks start spinning at close range you’re stuck. And the spread at full screen stop square jumping.
Can’t wait for Wednesday, I’m getting my hands on that guide and memorizing everything on Firebrand/Task/Skrull. Hopefully next week my fingers can keep up.
I hope your right, it looks nice but you never know pre-release. All I really want is a useable assist, there are far too many characters in vanilla with nothing but mediocre assists imo.
Aesthetics. Long overcoat + sword > unique character.
Firebrand has pretty mediocre assists.
Rocks are definitely slept on and would be good for Firebrand, but Hidden Missiles would work really well for him too.

I am willing to give this thread up to whoever wants it. I am mad hype for Firebrand, but I don’t think I’ll be able to keep 2-3 threads up to date on a daily basis.
I wish I could take it up, but I am not confident in even being able to keep Dormammu up to date. Anyone who wants the Firebrand thread is welcome to use my template to make life easier.

I’m pretty hyped for Firebrand, when he got announced with Hawkeye, Strider and Ghost Rider he was the one I was more interested in. Never really showed him much love afterwards when I saw Wright, though, but I’m planning on learning him he seems pretty fun.
Firebrand may be the only Capcom Character of the new roster that interests me also with the recently shown Frank west. The entire Marvel side looks like so much fun. Capcom characters don’t entice me other than Wesker, Spencer, and Trish.
