How you getting Melty son?! But yeah I definitely agree with you. I’ll see what I can do as far as these pre-FR gatherings go, but I probably won’t be this Friday because I made a promise to a few Melty players that I’d be there at Tech this Friday afterwork but possibly Saturday or Sunday after work if that’s fine because I have leniency on those days & I should be driving so I’ll have to excuses to be there on time.
lol, all you people are pretty funny.
Here’s what I have to say which is actually pretty unrelated with what you guys are talking about right now:
I think it’s really funny that people who claim ATL/GA find that it makes any sense at all to support somebody else when a GA player is playing somebody out of state. Yeah, don’t get it twisted; people who claim GA but then shit on their players when they play out-of-state-people are pretty delusional. I’m starting to think that this whole rift we believe we’ve got that’s holding us back isn’t even there in the way we think it is.
All I know is that I don’t give a fuck if you’re Branh or an OG…I’m going to give you support if you run up on somebody outside of GA (and surrounding areas we game with…ex: Bama). If Branh starts blowing somebody up that I don’t know, but I know that person isn’t from this area, I’m going to get hype and give him support.
O.O so basically support is the problem?
Not really. That’s not what I’m getting at.
Why would you claim a certain region or state if you’re just going to shit on your own players when they’re trying to protect your region? That just doesn’t make any sense, you feel me?
Sure, I understand we’ve all got the “villians” of the state…but it just doesn’t apply to the general sense I’m talking about. Either claim your region completely, or don’t at all. This scene’s too fragile for you to pick & choose.
does anyone know the exact date for season beating
Ya i see what you sayin man. Sorry Pokchop not sure, I’ll check it though.
This is a good point to touch on. We all come from the same state, and the same scene, so when we play people out of state, regardless of how we all feel about each other, we represent one another. So, I agree with Eddie in the fact that if you are going to claim a scene, why try to destroy it?
real talk i respect you a lot but the rest of the people in that dunwoody crew (who seem like they are associated with you) pissed me off A LOT with how they treated my friends from bama including raph and mayor so that’s why i was like that. and they did that shit to people from GA too so fuck that. And I think a lot of people who played them or watched them play weren’t down with that bullshit either. its just a matter of them having no fucking respect so i had no respect in return.
i am always hype for you guys when you play people at final round from elsewhere so i was felt fucking backstabbed when u guys talking so much shit to my close friends.
i do respect you, that’s why i told you, Chris Greene, some others some strats after that tournament because I want to see GA do good at final round… i wanted to tell Clint too but I didnt get a chance.
i was just reacting to the way my peoples got treated, that’s all.
i will support you at final round when you play the out of towners i promise.
edit: by the way good shit with everyone i played casuals with at Shinblanka’s house on sunday, Alvien, Shinkuur, Cardell, Shinblanka, Druseph
Well I’d support everyone if I had a car and didn’t have to ride ass backwards MARTA. They run everything on 1 track after 7pm >.> for no reason…
Don’t worry Thomas…you were the last person I was thinking about when I posted that
However, about the Dunwoody crew…I don’t think they meant it like that. I won’t speak for them, but I know that they try to be as hype as they can for all of their friends’ matches, so it might have rubbed off the wrong way. To me, there’s a huge difference between hyping your friend up and downing your opponent. “Oh, that’s how gross you are?! Stylin’?!” to your friend is MUCH different than “YOU FUCKING SUCK BALLS” to your friend’s opponent.
shrugs
That’s a very good start:rofl:
There’s a couple of things that are holding us back in my opinion. I’ll tell you guys now though that civil wars are not a good thing so avoid pissing your Bro’s off if possible. Most to all people that play fighting games are usually in it for themselves, and those around them come second. Everyone is guilty of that, but that’s how it is.
Hey Thomas, I know your secret. Very nice found dude; it’s also safe with me:china:
ok cool!
yeah i was just mad at the time i think i’m cool with them now
edit: does anyone have any way i can contact clint that isnt here where people out of state can see it actually he plays phoenix and i have some really good glitchy shit with her that i couldn’t do at the tournament but that he needs to know i promise it’ll be worth it
So who are you talking about then??
Anyone willing to make some MVC2 and 3S Teams?
Edit: I also wanna play whoever you guys say has the Best MVC2 Iron Man in GA. I’ve played J360 luckily, but I want to see more Iron Man action.
in mvc2? where? fr?
i won’t practice but i’ll play if u need people but i’m practicing mvc3 only till after fr
edit: ATL CPU got the best Tony Stark in GA hands down he plays combofiend with the rocket punch assist
After FR hit me up. Tryna level up myself as well as other ppl. You know where I be on PSN

Yeah, I’m confused. Did something happen Sunday or Saturday that I didn’t see? Oh, is this about Thomas vs that Dunwoody guy? Thomas asked me and a handful of others to counter hype, but I actually talked with him afterwards and we were cool. I’m confused as to what you are referring to exactly Eddie. I haven’t seen this GA on GA disrespect when they are playing out of state players. =/
I can vouch for this.
Well, there were tons of people I’ve been seeing from tournament to tournament that shit on their own players when it’s not appropriate.
Don’t take this as me saying “Oh, I need people to support me.” Like I said…if you don’t want to, then suit yourself…but so many people diss their own players when the time for that is over. The scene’s based on how strong it can be, but part of this comes from us knowing when the fuck to get along and when the fuck to bicker. It wasn’t the right time most of the time. Again… “yo, you gross as fuck?” is way different than “beat his bitch ass! get his shit out of here!”
Like, for example, it’s cool and everything to support whoever you want…but was it necessary to keep downing me and my gameplay when I was playing Byron? Support him; don’t down me. I was trying to make the first GA mvc3 tourney a GA win. If Branh ran up on JWong and was actually doing well (not that this would happen…lol), i’d put everything aside and cheer him on. I don’t want Jwong to take all our money…
Those of you that don’t notice just aren’t looking hard enough. The scene isn’t full of flowers and people ready to praise you because you were doing well. People shit on you because haters gon’ hate.
Ya’ll who know me know I’m chill as fuck. So, hopefully nobody blows up at me over this. Like, grow the fuck up if you do. It ain’t that serious . Trying to get everybody together is serious…people getting butthurt because they think they’re important enough for me to even be talking about them isn’t serious
when I go back to mvc2 i am seriously considering playing a different team than i used to, something like psylocke / im / tron or doom / im / tron or some shit
phoenix is a cheap bitch i wish she was on marvel 2 imagine her doing her air command normals where she dives or her air rush punch and then airdash cancelling that shit it would be like having 4 different tridashes in one jump
Iggywhite on Ike’s account.
Fair enough. This scene definitely doesn’t show respect during matches, but I don’t know about outright disrespect. Besides, it’s never been about people hating on each other as much as it has been about people hyping each other. I am still hard pressed to find too many examples of GA on GA HATE, maybe emotions run high a ton, but never HATE.
Edit: Read your edit. I didn’t hear all that hate during grandfinals. That is pretty crazy that people would just straight do that, espesh in grand finals, but honestly, I was so enthralled with the match that I didn’t hear too much of it, but apparetly it must have been enough to upset you.
