Tekken 5 was not shallow. There are few games deeper than Tekken. And yes, I do also play VF as well. At higher levels, Tekken is a very deep and complex game.

Came up with an idea. Who is willing to go to the Gamestop SFIV tournaments that are only on the 360 pad? I am. Everything is single elim, so, it would be much better if we all attempted to avoid bumping heads at the same locations. It would be a shame to see a majority go to a location, expecting to win over some scrubs, but have all of us eliminate each there before the second round :lol: I really just want to qualify for Round 3 for a TE stick, but it’ll be based a lot off of luck since someone could qualify by simply lucking out and choosing the worst (in terms of skill) locations for Round 1 and 2.

What do you guys think? You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours (no homo)

Dude, i was thinking the exact same thing, like when i go this Saturday, i’ll just rip up some suburban scrubs and just take the prize and get to the next round, but i hope they don’t choose a crappy location for Rounds 2 & 3, i’ll be attending the on in the Fayetteville Pavilion, hopefully, i won’t run into any of you. But i’m down with the idea Bananas, i’ll endeavor to avoid bumping heads with you guys until where it really matters

I’ve been practicing Battle Fantasia and HDR on my 360 pad… its so painful. Whats funny to me, is that I usually have 2xQCFs to be easier if I use the analog thumbstick, then switch back to the D-pad for standard stuff.

Maybe SF4’s inputs will be a bit more lenient and I won’t have to do the thumb shuffle…

Get SF4
Unlock Dan
Get Online and Jaw-jack everyone in sight.

Get a little Dan-active in your diet!

Atl is "the" home of tekken, Atl has no captains. About 25 deep if not larger in terms of “solid” Tekken community and players.
We don’t very much speak upon zaibatsu because we are all in contact anyways, from jio too crow too tran too JOP, speak almost on a weekly basis.

Tekken is pretty much dead in the “A”, nearly all of us are on SC4, with the arcade release of T6 there was no longer a reason to train in T5DR or 5.0 "but" if there are some individuals from this forum interested in money matches… I’am pretty sure lil’ Ricky (PokChop) myself and a few others would surely except them

Picked up the Limited Edition of SF4 for my 360 earlier, and I was lucky enough to find an Blanka MadCatz FightPad. It should hold me over until I get a TE stick (I’ve got one on pre-order from BestBuy that - supposedly - will ship on March 1.) Anyway…

I hopped on an started messing around in arcade. The game is a blast and I love how people can just drop in and start playing. SF4 is the first fighter that I’ll spend time learning, and I can already tell the experience is going to be great.

Love it.

Yeah I had to turn that off. People are consistently cutting into your matches. Lol! I have everyone but Akuma, Goken & Seth. Good Shit though. This is going to be the show stopper at Final Round.
