Well, Thursday I’ve got school, so I’m automatically out of the picture. I was thinking of leaving SFIV with someone if they honestly wanted to gme, but I havent gotten that far in planing yet :lol:
Yeah, getting it from GS. I got my automated call yesterday saying it came in, but the store reps told me those calls went out a day early for the TE stick and Fear2. They “should” have it in today, if they don’t, I’m gonna cry. :sad:

The 360 pad is the worst fighting game pad ever made. I always thought this, but it took 5 minutes with SFIV to realize how garbage it was :lol:

I wrote a bit about this in the Tech Talk section, but yeah, I feel your pain on QCF/DP moves. Personally, I like the PSX/SNES d-pads, I haven’t been a fan of “floating d-pads” like the Fightpad’s in the past. Since there was a lot of attention put in to the joysticks, I thought I’d give the pad a try. I agree its great for charge characters, and I like using it for non-fighting games as well. But I don’t feel like QCFs/DPs come out as crisp. Its still better than the default 360 d-pad IMO, but not better than PSX pads.
But yeah Shadow, the joysticks weren’t tied to the SF4-game street date, they were set to release today for the initial shipment (which was only like 3000). Madcatz has begun production on additional stock, but they’ll be somewhat staggered into the market the following weeks.
The game still won’t be out until Tuesday/Wednesday of next week “officially,” but I heard “Bananas’ Stop” has a Kiosk playing it!
Oh, I know what Shadow Ace was talking about, I was just talking about the five minutes I spent making sure my SFIV worked correctly, and all I had on me was the standard 360 pad :lol:

Indeed. BananasStop isn’t selling copies of the game, but is offering the ability to play it a few days earlier (nothing special, but like I said, a few days earlier is a few days better :tup:)
BananasStop is closed Thursday though :sad:, but there might be a possibility that it might leave it’s merchandise with someone that day :lol:
It’s not bad for 3-D fighters. I actually really love it for Virtua Fighter and Soulcalibur.
