dont forget to preregister because the fee will be higher at the door if you dont. Also if anyone can bring anything please post about it. we have enough PS3s but need some ps2’s tv’s and if anyone wants to bring anything for casuals bring it on.
Makes no sense a fee is for the cost of an event to the venue not just because you feel like it. I know you want to hype shit but its stupid really. So if I have some cousins pop in at the last min from Maryland, they would have to pay more because they did not know of SKR or even if they was going to be in town…

I am not making any money on this, I am just helping out because I want more tournaments, and the higher fee for non preregister was the owner of LFG’s Idea. I will see if I can talk him out of it but it is not my decision. I am just helping run this because I care about the scene, so dont bite my head off when I am trying to build the Fighting game Community. If you have some suggestions to make this better, I am all ears, but again not everything is my decision.
is the STHD on PS3 or 360? I might go if it is 360
it is ps3. but we will have several 360’s availible to play so you could come and play casuals on that. I am planning on polling for st4 to see what everyone wants it to be on. so if you come you put in your 2c on what system we have future ones on.

Nope is not a lot at all. So you can up the 5 dollars, for a random scrub that want to play but does not want to spend 10 dollar door fee. To go 2 and out in a 8 person tourney. And at least with a doctor your making the appointment nine times out of ten.

After Bobsmack left town I didnt see a lot of people busting down the doors to run tournaments around here, so I thought I would take it upon myself. I didnt care if I made money or if it was just a big hassle I just wanted to try and recapture the fun I had at DSC. So when LFG came about I saw the opportunity to find something that could help everyone involved.
The owner was open to the Idea but wanted to charge a $10 venue fee, I talked him down. After the first one, where a large portion of the people didnt preregister he wanted to go to $10. I suggested that we do it this way to keep the fee at $5 for the majority of people. Now I could have just said the door fee is going up to $10(which is standard most everywhere) and you probably would have been cool.
So I really cant understand why you are busting my balls over something that really doesnt affect you since you are going to preregister. And as far as insinuating that what I am doing is somehow crippling the fighting game community?
I know helping run a tournament is a thankless job but Damn
