Because, despite my love of the character, it would be almost worth it to see Channing Tatum (Elton John even cringes at that name) die.
The only thing that made We Were Soldiers worth a shit, was getting to see Chris Klein getting a great big hole blown through his chest.

The hate is deserved, he can’t act, he has one freaking expression at all times. Very boring. My friend called him the male Megan Fox, all looks no talent, which I’m inclined to agree with. He’s probably sleeping with a bunch of Hollywood upper management or something to get all these roles that he has no skill to pull off.
I’m one of those glad that Wayans is gone, a little humor is okay, straight clown is just annoying. Also happy that those acceleration suits are gone, they were too over the top to be cool. I’ll take more ninja action over those anyday.

The acceleration suits fit the GI Joe motif of crazy stuff so i didn’t mind it plus i figured they were a one off anyways. Wayans did aight. He came off more tame than usual.
whats funny is i see more where’s marlon comments than oh i love channing comments. lol. they killed the wrong joe. though i remember rockb saying marlon made the rock rap behind the scenes which implies he might not either die…or we actually see him before he dies.
I’m hoping Marlon appears somewhere, maybe as a surprise. I had no problem with his character at all. They gave him some cheesy lines, but he was still good. I think people want him gone more because of the relationship he had with Scarlett, when based on all GI Joe lore I’m aware of she’s all about some Snake Eyes.
shes got 3 way triangle with duke and snake eyes. i dunno why people are flippin their shit over gi joe 1. yeah it was cheesy…but its fuckin gi joe. their first mission they had an ice skating battle over the weather dominator. Snake eyes has randomly busted out windmills in the middle of battles before lol. like nothing in gi joe 1 was that outragous to not fit in the canon. the ooonly thing that bugged me was cobra commander and the ninja history.
