Speculation: Cobra Commander Voice?
Sounds almost like the Cobra Commander from GI Joe Resolute. I like it.
from my understanding the resolute voice actor is supposed to be the movie one.
by the way if things go right money wise…im gonna finally get my cobra tattoo before i see the movie.

There appears to be some light at the end of the tunnel…
Just got back from seeing the movie. Its most definitely a huge improvement over the first movie. My only gripe with the movie is the pacing but other than that this movie gets a B+ in my book.
the only things that bugged me are really nitpicks,i enjoyed it overall…

lol arashikage clan plotline seemed a lil rushed…like the reasons for them to go after storm shadow in the first place.

they never explained the red ninjas. they are just kinda…there. evil cobra ninjas.
imo cobra steals the show. from zartans quips to cobra commander just being menacing when he stares you down. loved it.
oh and they forgot about baroness. lol. didnt explain her dissapearance.

i do appreciate the fact the plot is a bit of throwback to the weather dominator…i think the whole briefcase scene was a reference. as well as it being a resolute plotline.

I died laughing seeing the RZA as Blindmaster. Like it was out of place but yet it somehow worked. LOL
i knew he was gonna be him for a few years so it didnt shock me. but still hearin his voice was a bit lol.
Actually they are, they are part of a clan from what i recall though you could get a hint from sideshow’s site as they actually made figures from them. I used to know who they were & as a matter of fact last sdcc there was a mock up of that scene where the take storm shadow but of course with the exception of his figure. it’s snakeeyes, his pre kick ass sidekick (due to almost similar costume colors) and the red (dragon)? clan.
i thought they were an offshoot of the clan, but they never explained it in the movie. nor explain why they were bad if stormshadow is the leader. stormshadow and snake eyes are the highest ranking clansmen soooo red ninjas should be following them both.
I’m kinda interested in where this movie series goes. I mean
[details=Spoiler] Storm Shadow is at a crossroads and you have to wonder whether he’ll go back to being bad or pretty much heading up the ninja clan himself.
Cobra Commander pretty much went MIA at the end so you gotta wonder if he’s just gathering more men for his cause.
Destro could possibly come back and then you still got the Baroness.
Obviously the other characters from the first movie didn’t get killed so they could come back.[/details]

Just saw it. Like Kusanagi said, huge improvement over the first film.
I wish Jon Chu was a transformer fan.
CONS
Jinx and Flint seem a little flat.
I was anticipating the music to be better since it was by Henry Jackman from X-men first class.
Rza as blind master kinda took me out of the movie. Some people in my cinema laughed during his scenes.
PROS:
Action choreography/scenes were good.
Seeing CC in full proper gear and menacing voice.
Seeing the Fang copter, Hiss Tank, and takes on classic G.I. joe vehicles with more practical effects than CGI
Jonathan pryces performance/jokes as Zartan/prez
