i didn’t realize they were titanium shafts. what are the differences between the titanium and the stock shaft?
at first, i thought it was a stock shaft anodized for the aesthetics. if that was the case, then it would make more sense to do shaft covers than to do a whole shaft. with a jlf stick installed, unless you have a clear dust cover, there is less than an inch of viewable shaft.
i am interested though. could you PM price for a shaft done up in the burnt titanium look in the first post. also, if you are able to do jlf shaft covers with the same look PM me, as i’m more interested in those.
hey armi i have a question about the balltops did you have to mod them to get the light to show through. i already own a bubble top and if i could save some cash and not have to get another that be great
These are not lit, just the way the light hits the bubbles. If you are going to light a ball top when you order from me, just let me know and I can drill it out. If you already have one. The cheapest way is to just stick a drill in the threads so that you drill some space where the top of the stick will sit to allow for the led, if you want to be precise, you can grab a long .125 drill and use the hollow shaft to guide the drill to dead center.
The difference between the titanium shafts and the originals is just the material. Although butteroj seems to have gotten one with bad threads, which we are replacing. They should be identical in dimensions, but with a hollow shaft and made out of Ti.
I highly recommend purchasing through Paradise Arcade Shop myself. I bought one of his hollow Ti JLF shafts and custom blue bubble top and they are some of the best in my collection. They provide a good service and now that they carry seimitsu and sanwa buttons it’s hard not to appreciate the type of options Paradise Arcade Shop provides. Well done.
