yo what up Canada i had a blast. Darkdragon your the man for real i saw that mofo runnin tournys and fixin sticks the whole 9. Also jigga is the man too for the hookup. If anyone knew what we went through to get there u would bow down to us all.

first off i gotta apologize in cvs2 to my boys. i lost to roll stupid i have no idea how to beat someone who does it all day and cant even poke and gambles his match. I almost even lost my match to nagata but i know how to beat it now(just turtle hardcore) i cant beleive u though u would beat me i read that shit, that shit will never win u a tourny but gg nontheless.i won my mms so im releived,i would have mm JS and ratio1 but i didnt like the sticks at all (thats why tony b didnt place either he is good)and i had to borrow money just to do my other mms. Props to smooth for holdint it down for me, were all proud and know you can get over that hump and beat Justin.

the 3s comp was off the hook id like to give props too all the canadians u guys have a handful of strong 3s players. Too bad we had to enter in the losers but we held that shit down. Fuckin Justin WOoooooong you cant sleep on him he can figure u out quick i think that what happened from team to singles tourny. that urien was buff was that ack or not i heard he was in hong kong?

T7 was a lot of fun. Wish I could have made it on Sunday but unfortunately my work took priority. I was really disappointed when I found out ST 5on5 was switched to Sunday but that’s the way things go I guess…

Anyways, huge props to Stephen and all the organizers for doing an awesome job. The tourney flowed about 400% better than last years and you all deserve more thanks than anyone could possibly give for that.

Anyways, notes from me…

–Sorry to Brett and Farid for my poor performance in 3S Teams. I just couldn’t get into a groove and was disappointed with myself. Thanks for choosing me as your 3rd though. Farid, seriously…don’t use Ken’s sweep so much…:sweat: Keep practicing and get better guys.
–Props again to Kevin for donating the A3 and ST boards. Good games on Friday.
–GGs to JayWang in both ST and A3. Your ST Cammy really took me by surprise.
–Major props to Montreal and US A3 players. I love that game but have never gotten a chance to play against high level stuff like that before. Even in its heyday, A3 never really took off in these parts. Awesome stuff.
–GGs to that guy from Zangief user from Windsor…was fun fooling around with A3 late Friday night.
–The Team 3S finals were amazing. Both teams were really evenly matched and it made for some intense matches.
–It was really cool to meet David Spence. You’re a cool guy man and I really hope we get to play again someday. Just one set wasn’t enough. Good match and I’m sure you’ll get your revenge if we meet again.
–Props to SuperAssRider…really kickass V Charlie; a character I really want to learn
–good games in casual CvS2 to noodleman who I have to thank once again for loaning me his AE for a couple of weeks
–congrats to Lars for beating me in CvS2 tourney for the THIRD year in a row…haha…good shit.
–ggs to anyone I forgot…I’m sure I’ve forgotten some things.

Anyways, last thing I want to say is that I’m retiring from competetive SF. If I don’t get to play any of you anymore, just want to say it was great playing against everyone over the past three years or so at York, Skybox and Orbit. If I’m in the area I’ll definitely drop by PMall and play a bit but for the most part I think I’m done. All the best luck in any future tourneys to everyone.

Great tourny we went through hell to get to canada but in the end it was all worth it. Got to chill with new people and see old faces. That mall had a lot of fobs, asian chicks have no body what’s so ever…

You guys have a nice arcade but the sticks need improvment and the time needs to be on normal not juiced up like barry bonds. It makes a big differnce in cvs2 turtle matchs.

Other then that this tourny was way to fun. I like to thank everyone who gave me free money for betting agianst me or side betting me.

The 2nd major I played in and this year, I came for what I wanted and that’s TOP 5 FOR SUPER TURBO! I’d like to thank the following during the duration of the weekend:

Dogberry: Eliminated me and settled for a 4th place finish in ST like our 80+ practice sessions meant nothing. Even gave me a spot in Team Canada when we’re ready to fight and in the end, I’m the captain without a team :rofl:. Thank you for bringing in your ST and A3 boards, one of the best tourneys…ever!

TigerLee, DarkGiygas, Coveguy, Cruxay, Will: I wanted to put this last but I had to put it in RIGHT NOW! Thank you FIVE for holding your breaths for 10 seconds then burst out laughing after seeing my straight face which was me wearing my careless mask to which few people actually see then to make the first 30 minutes of the 3S Teams to be the funnniest shit to be ever seen possible. How I told those Johnsons to walk away was straight up Scarface and what was even more funny is that…I can’t even explain…Brandon, Marc or somebody who was there; please tell the full story. “I DEMAND A SPOT IN TEAM CANADA FOR 3S AND CVS2!” :rofl:

Farid: For letting me borrow his camera so I can take pics and for teaming up with me and WB! in 3S. Don’t business if we got last, I had fun playing a game I hardly play.

SmoothCat: Another XBL player I meet in person. Destoryed me in the money match that I didn’t back out of and I could see my soul like McFly’s and SNAAAAKE’s in the soul beads. Anyway… I want to take the time to commend you all on hosting a great tournament. As usual the gamers in Canada are some of the best gamers that I have met and I mean that on a skill level and personality level. JS Master is your best gamer personality wise that much is undisputed. As for Skill well there is too many of you to find a undisputed ultimate gamer for Canada. You guys are good in everything that we are good in. Its like a entire nation that is like the Empire vs. a company. Thats some serious stuff there.

The fact that you guys had to make us use momentum to ensure JS master fell to Marvelous was crazy in itself. Guys like Neo Russel, Shyft, Prez, Pui, two random Tetris dudes (who are serious in that game) and a bunch more. I’ve met so many more gamers that I didn’t have any time to chill with you guys. This is starting to suck. The guys from MTV said that next year we should make this a 4 day event because we need a day when we can all just wild hell out. Seriously…

While we were all playing they took the party bus down town and picked up some girls from a the local club. I was heated when I heard that. Anyway…I would have to say the best part of the entire time there was when you guys came on the bus for about 10 minutes to chill and have a drink with us. IMO its moments like that, that makes me feel that what we are doing is all worth it. That inspires me to keep at it with the Empire in hopes that one day we can get the entire Culture back on its feet world wide.

Once again you guys were great and we look forward to coming back next year. Nagatta, Dark Dragon and the rest of T7 staff, thanks alot and lets plan something bigger for next year… I mean like commerical big. The MTV guys are interested in a major project of some sort. We’ll talk via aim.

Tourny of the year! One thing I’ve always said about Canadian players is that you guys give it your all and never fall into misbeliefe whether your the underdogs or not. When I come to Canada, I cant explain it…its one of the most warmest most hospitable places anywhere and I love everything that you guys are doing in the community in terms of support. Alot of people downtalk Canada as a whole I dont see why people disrespect your nation so much but I truly believe if you guys traveled more people would not be talking. No you may not have Evo’s money or sponsorship but none of that matters when your talking about the culture and origin of a true community and nation of gamers and THAT is what matters the most! Much respect!

I wanted a first to 10 in CFE. Me the top Canadian for CFE? I think it’s the excessive knowledge of the FAQ I put in. There was Vampire Savior during 3S 5-on-5, I went undefeated using Felicia facing the guy in the white jersey in one of our pics and the other guy wearing army gear. :tup:
