Yea i ran CVS2 all of friday, and like 50% of Saturday, at which point Wing took over (thankfully) cause i was getting tired of it. I started moving around locating people to line up for cvs2 games.
im glad cvs2 ran smoothly, and i KNOW it since we were past marvel in terms of the brackets, and we had more entrants/longer games.

Stephen: Thanks for doing a fantastic job as general director this year. You kept a cool head the entire weekend (which is something I was never able to do) and everything ran as well as it could have. I’m glad to see that the person who succeeded me had such a great first run.
TFGM: Much thanks for bringing The Empire back to Canada. You always bring a strong community of players to unleash the pain and hold it down. Also, a big thanks for bringing MTV to T7. A lot of players specifically came out to see what all the fuss was about and it drove numbers up. The place was packed and the crowds were hot all weekend.
James: We had a lot of ups and downs but I’m very happy that you came on as Tekken 5 director and took such an active role in negotiations with Estarburst management. You did a great job and I’m sure the entire community appreciates what you did for us.
Marc: You don’t even work for ORBIT anymore and you still fixed one machine after another and kept this tourney going. I’m sure all of us owe you a debt of gratitude. Big thanks for helping run 3S as well. Oh yeah, and thanks for beating Eric for money in 3S and doing it while I was passing by so I could make fun.
Nathan: Much thanks for helping with Marvel. I don’t just mean today though. You’ve been a massive influence on the Toronto Marvel scene and brought in a lot of new blood. It showed in T7 with so many of the new faces actually entering the tournament instead of just watching like years past.
Cyrus: For all the verbal abuse I put on you, I just want you to know it was so you kept things running tight. This was your first go at directing a major tourney and I’m sure you understand how hard it is now. With that being said, you did a fantastic job with CvS2. Keeping the next matches on deck so it was a seemless movement was very smart directing and definitely a necessity with such a large field and such a long game.
Nazir: Are you happy now? We got you Slash in cabinet. The GG community better show their support. With that being said, big thanks for running Slash this weekend. I didn’t hear any issues at all from that area so you must have done a good job. I hope the GG community thrives now that Slash is there and there are no upgrades on the horizon to turn people off the cab we have.
Kevin: I wasn’t happy with what happened with the Super Turbo 5 on 5. I also wasn’t happy with facing you first round of the tournament. If I knew I was going to get punked like that, I never would have entered. Now then, I along with about 30 - 40 people who enjoyed the boards, owe you a huge debt of gratitude for your contribution to this tournament. In particular, the donation of Alpha 3 brought basically the entire Montreal crew out of hibernation and made T7 feel like it was back in the day.
Tony: Thank you for coming all this way and still taking on the job of director for Alpha 3. You truly love that game. I don’t know what Kevin’s going to do with his boards but if they remain in that arcace you can be sure Toronto will take it’s game up and maybe create a new rivalry for Montreal.
Brett: I can’t believe your dedication to the scene. You took the bus 3 hours every day and were always there first. You never complained or had a negative thing to say, even when you were soaking wet from that freak weather on the Sunday. Thanks for helping out all over the place and making quite a few people’s lives a bit easier.
JJ: It was an honour and a pleasure to meet one of the great Canadian MvC2 players. Like I was saying to you last night, it’s a shame you didn’t arrive a few days earlier and adjusted to the sticks. It was like night and day watching you play on Saturday and then on Sunday when you had a couple days under you. I hope you have a great time in Toronto while you’re here. Make sure to check with ORBIT about Jason’s MASSticks.
Crazy J: Again it was a great pleasure meeting you as well. I wish we all got to hang more but I was tied up in the arcade all weekend. You’re a beast at Marvel and I’m scared to think what you would have done to me in Poker as well. I hope you had a good time and I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip in Toronto.
