if choco got even one win, would you complain? if we had someone who got 5-0ed would that mean japan rigged up our side or would that be business as usual for you? neither teams were “the best” and it was an exhibition match, but with #1 and #2 of the singles tournament + daigo assist they should have still won with sheer numbers.

Obviously Choco was not on the level of the other members of their team. But it’s not like we had USAs 5 best players, either. There are plenty of US players that can have arguments made for them being put on the team that didn’t even go to SB, so they weren’t even an option.
People also seem to be overlooking the fact that not only was Choco fighting 5 of the US’s best players, but that it also randomly just so happened to be some of Blanka’s worst matchups. …Balrog, Honda, and Dhalsim? That’s some unfortunate shit. So yeah, she got 5-0d, but that still doesn’t mean she’s not better then 90+% of the players that were at the event.
But like Danny already said, it’s all completely irrelevant. It was just an exhibition match for entertainment purposes. Which is again why no one is saying “we’re the best.” Just don’t think it was a “rigged” setup to make us look good or something.
