Hey guys, I know most of you don’t know me but my name is Plank from Smashboards. I’ve been running tournaments for about 5 years now, most known are my Pound series tournaments in which the last one in January had over 550 entrants.
I am posting because I was the smash TO assigned to GAMME, which as most of you know, will no longer be happening. There were a lot of unanswered questions about the tournament and it did not seem very legit. People have bought tickets and made reservations to this event in BOTH communities, so I feel it is my obligation to host a replacement tournament – Just so there is something for everyone.
I am trying to rally support of the SRK community for an event we are trying to host. I found a good venue for a decent price if I can get the support of the SRK community to come out and play. We will keep everything the same weekend and it will be Saturday and Sunday.
