Well, it wouldn’t have turned out so nice if it wasn’t for your amazing template. :tup:
The writing on the bottom left corner though was a little too close to a screw (which was my fault, since I forgot about planning for screws when I worked on the template with you, XD) but besides that it looks amazing in person.
I was worried that Thanatos would be covered up too much by the buttons, but he shows up perfectly.

Hey Nitewalker, what’s a rough estimate on the weight of the standard cases like the one you built for me? I might want to send it to a modder to get it put together, but can’t weigh it myself. Thanks in advance.
Around 3-5lbs. Depends on the wood though; purpleheart is very heavy. I just weighed my blue tiger maple compact and with parts it’s 4lbs.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the wood. It’s walnut which I imagine is somewhere around maple? It at least doesn’t feel too heavy.

Received the console cables! Nitewalker is the go to guy for console cables. They are solid and look amazing. For anyone worrying about updates from Nitewalker don’t fret, he always delivers. Be patient y’all.

Just an FYI, if anyone wants longer ps2 cables with a neutrik boot I can get the cables from focus attack and put a neutrik boot on it.
I might be interested in that, Nitewalker. What would the price range be for something like that?

Update:
• Cases are going along a lot smoother now; I have a new build routine in place and I’m able to get the cases done a lot quicker. I’m currently finishing up the batch from the end of july.
• Neutrik NAUSB installation woes are no more! I finally got some longer screws (1") for easier mounting.
• In a few days I’ll have pics and specs of my new budget cases. They’ll look like the ones pictured below, but with a few changes specified when I post them up.
• I’m going to have my website ready to go by the end of the month if I have to sit in front of the computer until my eyeballs bleed.
• From now on, ALL SimpleCases will have screws on the top panels. I’ve had plexi corners come up a few times and I don’t want that to happen. The screws I use are small, unintrusive and countersunk:
• From now on, I’ll be sending pics through email instead of posting in convos here; it’s just easier since I won’t have to upload everything through photobucket.
