Really love this game. To hell with perfect balance nonsense. Asymmetrical multi-player is alright with me. Socom, my favorite shooter, was a lot like that. Enjoying the hell out of this game

they just gotta bring the servers up to standards, I think the balance is fine as is. if they nerf the grab, Jason is gonna be a joke, and that’s not good for the thrills cause in some matches, its possible to escape without even encountering Jason, and there’s lots of ways to escape and interrupt the grab, people just gotta team better.
they gotta fix the level system because certain people are stuck at zero, overall they should polish things and the game will be golden. I’m already around level 20, and that’s counting hours of not being able to level. So the leveling speed feels fine when it’s functioning.
Overall, even on mics, people share their addiction to the game and genuine fun. See I know a masterpiece when I see one.
Private Lobbies are recommended, even if they give Quick Play, Private Lobbies and using PS4’s community log to invite/join people, is now standard for my method to get matches started.

There is an lfg group on the f13 forums I use on PS4. Can get a full room in quick match pretty quick.
Private lobbies are cool but folks tend to argue about who’s going to be jason.
that’s easily remedied with a good host that is fair, and gives those that requested a turn, at least messaging them they will get next turn based on who called for it first. private lobbies I been in, people usually are quiet about it if they get a turn within the next 1 to 3 matches. they was no arguing but I guess some others encountered some of the really selfish and impatient ones.
private lobby is still better, it also helps Counselor fans avoid being randomly picked. it’s win/win and more opportunities for the Jason fans with less competition for a turn.
This game is so much god damn fun. Did my first dick move and got all the pieces to the boat together and waited until I heard someone say Jason was on them…
Also ran over a guy asking for a ride because we didn’t have police called and I could afford to stop…

Also on PS4 private lobbies crash all the time while quickmatch with a group of 6-8 is near flawless. Fixes are coming soon though.

I play Jenny so I can definitely stun jason with a bat if I can find one. Probably need to play a map that’s not Higgins lol
that’s absurd, since day 1, private lobbies are flawless compared to quickplay . well over the first weekend, private lobbies did crash a few times, but people already accumulated hundreds of problem free matches played thanks to private lobbies, and matches started at a faster rate.
it can depend on people’s connections, if someone is like around 500+ ms, that can affect lobby stability overall.
In my experience… up until this past weekend at the time of that post that was not the case. Jesus you are unbearable.
