@Thaguy my bad about that team. I specifically designed it to be based on assists. I made sure each of them complimented each other. My friend snaps doom or tron all the time, but people underestimate deadpools otg assist, causing bounce. This then leads to whoever is on point to set up a combo.
Also I suck with Magneto.

-DKL alot of the Spring anime are mindfucking me. It’s like some are so WEIRD and HARDTOUNDERSTAND. and some is just too cliched or reminds me too much of other anime.
For a capture card, I have a Haupaggue HDPVR which i used to record my gameplay, as you guys may have seen before. But if you wanna use ThaGuy’s Capture card, then it’s fine. I usually leave early anyways. But like he said, We’d need a decent computer with a lot of memory to upload, since it is “HD” that mine records. Well up to 720p. Now i just needa find teh installation disk.

about capturing our sessions, I think it is better to just JTV stream it live cause JTV also records as well.
Plus it is rare that people would find marvel matches with people that is not known in the community.
I also pitched the idea of holding 1 dollar tournaments to further inform the public, but then the issues of set ups, and how many different games we can run and if there will be enough space.

@Sillis the thing is the upload rate on streaming. If theres crappy upload you get poverty streaming. Horrid streaming. Maybe we can use some of those imacs? And run a long ass cable to them? Since they are wired. wireless would be a hassle. Since we do have a station near that area usually.

It has an intel I3 core processor if that’s good enough. But yeah, the only questionable thing is the upload rate. If anyone has a mixer also, we can get a mic going also.
GGs to all. My plan is to spend a few days practicing the doom combos, I thought I had them down 100% but now I’m dropping it so back to the lab I suppose. I think that everybody who plays doom should at least be able to do one rep of the loop like the back of their hand and then work towards doing two, because doom really needs to get all the damage that he can, his offense is a lot worse when every footdive gets pushblocked, but chrisis is the only one who really pushblocks EVERY footdive, so I get away with dropping combos.
Lots of negative reception about using dante on my team. I wish I could pick more than three characters and have none of them be anchor, but there are limitations. Don’t worry I’ll be happy to body everyone who was disappointed with the change with supa skrull next week

@thaguy-yeah, i started out with chrisis advice and did chris/taskmaster/phenoix cause arrrows and bullets does a ton of chip if you do it right. i have only started to sub task for dante/doom/or haggar cause chrisis rushdown is hella gross and i need a get out of free jail card. dante wall of purp is beast mode

@link- i have found the only viable way to gain metter with thor, and its ant much :(. basicly, you do haevy mighty spark, and when you see the hammer charging, you do his meter taunt thing. the charged up ball will stay and fire like normal, and you get meter! but its like, really really little, but phenix needs everything she can get.

oh, we did a money match for a chicken wrap in samurai showdown sen, and marcos was the winner. he is godlike in that game.

I seem to really only like Steins;Gate and Hanasaku Iroha out of all the stuff I’ve seen right now.
That said, I don’t know if it’s because I’ve seen practically all of Hiroshi Hamasaki’s work (not a lot of people now this, but he did an episode of Paranoia Agent), but Steins;Gate didn’t seem confusing to me at all: it’s essentially the story of 3 socially inept (possibly mentally challenged?) people hanging out together and how the one dude may unknowingly have access to some form of time travel (he witnessed someone’s dead body, but this event was somehow replaced with a satellite being crashed into the building after he inadvertently sent a text message about the stabbing incident to the past).
That said, we were thinking about going to Sakura Matsuri, but we came to the conclusion long ago that the only thing there really is to do in Japan Town was resisting the urge to spend money.
Though, I do need to take a trip to Kinokuniya since I have to catch up on the last 2 volumes of 20th Century Boys, but I might just order the thing through The Right Stuf when I pick up some animu BDs and DVDs next month.

So, Sidney Lumet (Dog Day Afternoon, Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead) passed away.
The world is now a sadder place for me.
All things considering, the show’s depiction of “Child Labor” is pretty toned down: I come from a country that has mad child labor and nothing really shocks me with regards to this subject.
That being said, the show is likely very flow-charty as I’m under the impression that it’ll go in the direction of having everyone love each other by the end of the show… sure, you wanna punch niggas in the face right now, but you’ll likely end up loving the entire cast by the time it’s over.
Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing: I am enjoying the quality and sensibility of the production, which is usually hard to do for me nowadays as it feels like, half the time, people are handling shit with their thumbs.

HanaIro is kind of depressing.** Maria Holic** is pretty funny with kind of dark ecchi comedy just because of SHAFT. Steins could turn out okay, Chaos;Head anime turned out kind of meh. Hen Zemi is lol and I really liked the OVA. Deadman Wonderland was highly rated if you’re into shounen manga with a bit of violence. Kami no mizu was okay in the first season, suffered some pacing issues but wasn’t bad. Qwaser is worth a look if you want to look at terribad sacrilegious boob-sucking. And you can never go wrong with Gintama. TigerBunny looks kind of interesting, but then again it’s made by Sunrise which is known for making kind of interesting series which are good but not that good. Looking forward to the new Hoshi o Kodomo movie and Detective Conan.
This concludes my very brief Spring 2011 anime sweep. Lumet was a great director and definitely underappreciated.

My primary interest in Steins was the staff working on it; I’ve always respected Hamasaki’s work, so it was a given that I would watch this… really really liked Shigurui and Texhnolze.
That said, I didn’t even bother watching the “prequel”, but am under the impression that it may not be necessary to do so (plus, I heard the thing was ass and will not totally bother to check whether or not it’s actually true as I’m under the impression that Madhouse kinda just threw the project at one of their stock directors).
