Real talk: Tron Bonne is infinitely more awesome in Megaman Legends 2.
Essentially, she’s trying to convince Megaman to join up with team Bonne by convincing him that Roll has been deceiving him for forever…
The funniest part being that her reasoning doesn’t seem baseless: not only has Roll sold all of Megaman’s old weapons for the Flutter’s new engine, but she seems to charge an absurd amount of money for upgrades even though Megaman is doing all the fucking work.

Gra, I want to play again! I just came up with a potential Viper combo in my brain to potentially build enough gauge for the DHC only sacrificing like 20,000 damage but from the DHC thus making her B&B for 1 starting gauge kill every character except the 1,200,000 crowd, must test D:
Hey Chrisis, maybe you can help me out a bit (anyone can offer theory fighter input here). My Trish and X-23 got into a big fight and now they split up and are starting their own teams. Dante’s a lot of fun so I plan to have him stick around regardless.
Trish(Peekabo)/Doom(Rocks)/Dante(Crystal?)
Dante(Weasel)/Hsien-Ko(wrecking ball)/X-23(ankle slice)
I’m not too certain on the orders yet but for the Trish team, I’m thinking of playing keepaway/rushdown using Dante assist for mid range zoning and Doom Rocks for pressure or to escape dangerous situations. DHC damage should be decent as I can end Trish’s air combos with High Voltage into Doom’s roman candle.
X-23 team, I have Dante on point as his versatility seems good for handling the start of most matches. Once I create a situation to power-up Lei Lei, I can put X point for rushdown and have lei in the third slot providing effective cover. If things go real bad early on, I’ll have X-23 as anchor and can bust out some XFactor nonsense to clutch comebacks.
Both those teams seem potentially very fun! Does Trish have a good way to block string between rocks and crystal? It seems like you could have some pretty potent chip going back and forth between those 2 with the bonus of her projectiles/traps/BS.
On your second team I kind of advocate having Dante anchor over X-23 purely for the fact that certain zoning teams can give issue to her as anchor even with her increased speed while Dante X-factor can either rush down or chip people to death quite easily. I want to see this stuff in action!
With the trish team, I like doom on point. He does not really use much meter for zoning but trish needs more cause of the harvest hyper. Also DHCing for safety is not really an issue but if you want DHC for damage, and killing off then I am not sure.
For your X-23 team, I really like that idea where you start off lei-lei. Hyper armor her and raw tag out, with X-23. That way you can have lots of mix up set ups, that assist acts as a “get off me” cause they have to block.
Like what chrisis said, X-23 get zoned out very hard. Remember when we were playing Ric0’s doom? It was hell!!! The reason why I don’t like X-23 as anchor is that lv3-xf on her is way to fast for me, and I don’t like the fact that if I make one mistake it can be a potential dead x-23. I mean she does have lv3 into OTG rage trigger, which is very scary especially if they are coming in from a down…then it is mostly likely guaranteed with exceptions liek sent with his hard drive or other types of hypers etc.
Very interesting ideas, Lei lei can zone out very well also with a anti air assist also. I find all of X-23 assists pretty useless on my personal type…also why I play her on point.

@BART haha, I too was also at the Marvel3 station thingy. I didnt realize how much Phoenix players were there o.O. I remember making a guy rage, dunno how but I clocked him out with DarkPhoenix (I dont think she was xfactored) :D… Somehow. Then i trolled newplayers with Chun, just mashing dat C. Tho i had 6 wins 4 losses at my time there ._. Also bought some stuff, that i realize seems useless now.

My Viper BnB with cloned Zero costs 1.5~ gauges and does around 9K. Chrisis, what is the transcript for your best BnB? I do LMH xx M. TK (assist hits) MH xx M. TK xx EX TK, MH xx H. TK feint j.MMH dj. MHS xx EX BK (land) HS sj. MMH dj. MHS (land) seismo xx Burst Time.
Also, if any character in my team gets someone in the corner, theoretically the entire enemy team should get unblockable’d to death. Need to play around with some scenarios though.
I haven’t played taozen in a minute. Those teams are looking real solid on paper, hope to get some game time in against them this weekend.
That’s pretty much it getting rid of the L at the beginning already makes it do more damage, otherwise starting it with BK feint C S land 2B pushes that to around 1mil. I think there’s a better combo, I need training mode to test it though.
With Task that exact set starting with the CS does around 1.05 million.
Trish can end attack strings with Bonarang, from there I can continue pressure by sliding, box jumping or tri-dashing in, or I can throw off the opponent’s defensive options using speed change. Have to test the possibilities out some though, that Andre v Marn set gave me some new tactical ideas that could improve my Trish game.
I dunno about my X-23 on point yet X_X. But when my gameplan is working well, that is powering up Lei lei and tagging in X-23, the actual formation should be:
X-23 (ankles), Dante(Weasel), Gold Hsien (Senpu bu)
However, yeah, if Dante gets blown up early, I’m stuck with either X-23 or Lei Lei as anchor. Hopefully I get enough games in with the next couple weeks to try out various orders

That’s actually an interesting suggestion. With Trish, I’m a fan of punishing assists using her supers, and on my original team, she was often too starved for meter to do that as much as I like. Have to brush off that Doom rust.
I like X-23s ankle assist, but Wesker’s shot is better in just about every way. There are benefits to Ankle slice; its able to OTG multiple characters and has a low hurtbox allowing it to sneak under some things (very rare). But X-23 doesn’t need to be in harm’s way any more than she needs to.
