Supposedly there’s a free SSF4/MVC3 tourney happening at the Gamestop there. Sounds like it’d be good fun and it also be a good test to see how everyone’s progressing in the game. I wouldn’t mind another Sunday session as I have evening plans on Saturday.

The author claims the move doesn’t hit as a crossup, but I didn’t get a chance to go into the lab to confirm or deny that. Seeing as how it also works on a crouching X-23, the viability of this move has peaked my interest.
I found out Trish’s 2B has a similar effect if I do it immediately after a dive kick that hits deep. I have to experiment more to find out how practical it is, if at all.

It can hit cross up depending on timing I’m fairly certain, but timing it to hit cross up isn’t necessarily easy. Will we see you at Worf’s party?

Last time i saw a Tourny at Serramonte was for SF4 (they also had TvC) and the prize was SSF4, about two years ago. I believe i saw 1 xbox, and 1 ps3, could be more this time around. The pokemon tourny (Which i laughed cause basicly NO ONE signed up for it) is I believe only allows HG and SS (Which i doubt anyone cares). So yeah, best luck using a Dual Mod stick if they have the same setup as last time, but they had a HUGE TV, and a small one for the Wii. So im guessing this time around, more Tvs with more setups for SSF and MvC. But that was all 2 years ago, dont quote me on anything i said.
Aside from that, If everyone appears to be at the tourny on Sat, It’s best that the Dojo is on Sun(though again i might not be able to make it) , unless it gets really huge and it moves on till Sunday, which i doubt.
Demon, they will run 360s. Last time I told them about how to run a tourney they all wanted 360s. Anthony aka VII was screwed last time, because he bought his ps3 stick. Ill bring my modded T5 if anyone needs to borrow it on Saturday.
I think us East Bay folks are leaving for your place around 6ish so we’ll probably be there around 7 or so.

@Bart, yeah last time they only ran xbox360s, there were a number of people who were generous enough to lend me their sticks during my matches. There were SFSU Arcade regulars who attended last year so its safe to assume that they’ll be there also. However the best idea would probably be to bring the dual modded stick there.
btw last time the tournament was held near the food court, best bet to check there first when you get to serramonte
@linknights, from what I recall from last year, there were a lot of pokemon players whether playing behind set ups or taking up the mall seats. They were everywhere :wow: I think the girls who attended event, were all entered in that o.O. I didn’t seem them play anything else.

awe thanks guys. last night was metal, i would like to thank everyone for the gift and the fellowship. we should do this again sometime when i have sleep in me. i got a hour power nap, and all i can think of is c. viper, crossing the river jordan, peanut butter and honey sandwiches, and having a good time.
but, the dojo will be on sat, 2-10 in mary park hall. i couldnt get sunday. so i wish people luck in the serramonte tourny, go rep us and spread the word of the dojo, and when it is over, come to the dojo and tell us of your battles!
I guess Ill skip the tourney and go to the dojo, I have your plexi @worf and @royal. So Ill just fix your stick. HA.
