I’m down to get in KoFXIII at the RacknCue next week. Unfortunately I think you’re exagerating my skills at KoFs, I play characters like Kula which could practically be in an SF game.
I need to get hands on experience with Sent to see how much of the awesome remains, is new or has vanished completely. D:
Kula’s been that character that SF players can pick up for quite awhile, her and Iori since they have a lot of the archetypal things for SF characters, Kula having an SF style shoryu is amazing.
Btw, if people need help installing new artwork, plexiglass, or changing buttons, restrictor plates, joysticks, etc. I’ll be here for free installation simply bring in the replacement artwork/plexiglass/parts, it won’t take very long. Just lemme know in advanced so I can bring in a few tools.
I would suggest getting the artwork from Art’s website (http://www.tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/) instead of going to kinkos and trying to do the cutouts yourself. I had a terrible experience with doing the cutouts myself so just a warning.
Hey BartStation, can you tell me how much it would be if you help me change PCB+make some cords? I have a PS3 TE and I want a MC Cthulhu in it with cords for PS2/USB/DC. I think I already have a spare PS2 and DC cord lying around. You can keep the PCB that’s in the TE already too.
Yeah Ill to the button swaps and artwork change also, if you guys bring them.
Just call me Arlo as well, it’s easier to call me by my name. Im calling Seven, Optic Blast.
Hey, I’m about to post up some stuff to sell on the Trading Outlet, but I’d like to give first dibs to you guys, as local is always preferable (no shipping!). I have 6 purple translucent Seimitsu 30 mm PS-14KN and 2 black translucent PS-14GNC 24 mm (for start and select). These look really pretty but I want to try a different color scheme on my stick. Also have a spare PS2 Hori T5 PCB with cable. Good PS2 sticks are kind of rare/expensive so you guys who like to play those older games might want to switch out the PCB with this. It has great converter compatibility, I play lagless PS3/Wii/DC on my stick with this PCB. I might throw in some converters if you guys need them. Prices are negotiable for all these, talk to me on Saturday. Trading is good too =D.
Also, question for you techies, my Sanwa JLF is feeling a little grindy. I think it might need some lubrication. I did a search on the forums and there is a lot of information (some conflicting). Any recommendations for a quick fix, preferably with household items or something obtainable from a local Home Depot? Thanks for the help.
the dojo is happening this sunday from 2-10. its on sunday cause i gotta celebrate v-day on saturday (something about reservations). it will be in mary park hall.
I was going to put it up for $25 on TO. How’s $20 flat sound? I also have PS2->Wii/GC and PS2-PS3 converters (the Pelican one) if you guys are interested.
I tried greasing my JLF with some stuff I found in my garage. It’s better, but still a little grindy. I don’t think it’s the spring as I just put a new Seimitsu LS32 spring in there. Might be the pivot cylinder.
