I would really appreciate it if someone can teach me the basics of MVC2 next time. Just basic stuff and what I’m really looking for when I’m choosing assists and such.

i messaged haunts a long time ago with info/help. he gave me a lot of useful information when it comes to streaming, and he said that he cant come to every dojo, but to pm him when a big tourny is coming out so he can try to make it.
speaking of which, the next tourny will probably be around the 12th or 19th of feb. it gives me enough time for me to talk to my bosses about a prize, gives us enough time for people to come, and gives us enough time to find someone who can stream and record and such.
also, the hungry freshman we could move the food in front of us and try to make people to play, or we can put the food in a locked room, and say “you must play before food”, or get a more private room where we dont have to worry about hungry freshman. i donno, but iam trying to find a solution to get peeps without our peeps trying to dine and dash. maby a side tourny, “you may eat food when you beat one person 3 out of 5”. lol
also, 2 of my bosses came and were glad with our community bonding. they like how the program is reaching the residents, students, and outside gamers. gamers unite! they said that i can make it into a club, we could get special perks and such. the word “club” keeps popping up from peeps. ill do research on it.
what do you guys think? any ideas.

Hey anyone have any experience with Mayflash sticks? I was wondering if it was possible to use the Mayflash’s PCB to dual mod a 360 TE stick to support PS3 and PS2.
Depends when you got it. I can help if its pre 2009, I can dual mod it for you.
I think it’s post 09. I modded it with sanwa parts and the tutorials told me that i needed to cut the traces for the stick’s pcb.
Yeah, it’s impossible to dual mod it unless its common ground. i think you should get a MC cthulhu and attach a ps2/ps1 cord to it.

Those dates are tricky! The 12th would be an awesome time to do a SSF4 tourney before MVC3 sidetrack some of the guys. On the other hand, the 19th we can run a week-one MVC3 tourney. I personally think the 12th is a better date since I’m sure once Marvel drops, a few people (especially myself), would like to spend (or miss) a session or two just trying to get the basics down and have some lab time trying to figure out some of the less straightforward characters with our local gurus.
Just my two cents though… But I definitely wanna do a training mode buddy system for MVC3, to help us VS series-nubs grasp the game quickly.
lol @ hungry freshmen. some possible workarounds
-sign-in sheet, like we had the first couple weeks (simple but would require an enforcer)
-gauntlet. New people can’t have food unless they play a set against everyone currently there (what about spectators?)
-Or if they don’t want to play and rather spectate. They have to bring some food or gear (setups, sticks, etc.) to share (what about those tight on cash?)
-give all the cupcakes to me
