As strange as this sounds, I feel like it’s much easier to move around in Virtua Fighter 5 (a game that is popularly believed to be “stiff”, if I’m to understand things correctly).

That said, hope to have my Zafina ready today.

OH, and Infamous is pretty great; I got it for free, so that makes it better.

Surprisingly, the platforming isn’t as smooth as Sly Cooper, but it could be because of the sheer scale of the game. Either way, scaling things is, while not as good as Uncharted, still pretty good.

Also, I don’t really like the game’s art design; despite how fur-tastic Sly Cooper was, it oozed with character…

This game looks like… every other post-apocalyptic game.

Oh, and has kinda shitty animation.

I think the most hype thing that happened today (aside from Virtua Fighter) was me playing as Neko-Arc in Melty Blood…

I tried Blandy McBland, AKA Aoko Aozaki, but she wears like a white t-shirt and jeans:

I might as well be playing as a plank of wood.

But Neko-Arc is HYPE: optic-blast all day.

(but then I come to the realization that using this character can potentially make matches go on for forever and I’m not completely sold on it being a good idea as much)

Anyway, I’m off to shoot demons.

I like how the first image I see when I load the game is the part with the accursed tops.

Sorry I didn’t make it out today, I saw the rain and got intimidated so I stayed home and tried to play online instead.

I’m probably going to head out to Southtown tomorrow around 1:00pm. A friend of mine should be coming too and we’ll mostly be playing AE (although I’ll be down for Marvel). I’ll put a post on here when I’m leaving tomorrow (just in case something comes up and I don’t end up going).

Some quick DMC4 updates:

Devil Hunter isn’t actually hard (bosses are moving by a lot quicker now for some reason… maybe it’s my upgrades?).

There’s still too much walking around and not killing things.

Also Silis, what are some other characters that you enjoy playing? After a bit of thinking I came up with some potentially fun relentless rush down teams.

Viper (Burn kick)/Zero (Hadangeki)/Sentinel (drones)
This team allows you to RTSD with drones coverage and set up a lot of really hard to block mix ups, Viper Zero DHCs do ridiculous amounts of damage and with Zero or Sent on point you get unblockables.

Viper(Burn kick)/ Dante (jam session)/Doctor Doom (hidden missiles or plasma beam)
This team allows a lot of rush down and unblockable craziness, if they ever decide to block a hidden missiles call dash up focus and summon Dante, it’s very scary when done right.

X-23 (ankle slicer)/ Dante (Jam Session)/ Taskmaster (Horizontal arrows)
Team Taozen of the moment is very good for rush down, I think horizontal arrows is among the best rushdown supports there are.

Dante(Jam session or Crystal)/Wesker (Samurai edge)/ Taskmaster (Horizontal arrows)
I have absolutely no idea why more people don’t play this team, it has stupid unblockable set ups, DHC glitches, excellent normals, crazy mix up, and way above average health. Over all it’s just really amazing.

Marvel games were good and so were the SF4. Jojo was cool, but I was too tired to play. Sonic adventure YES. But fuck Knuckles prospector ass. Tired of digging all around.
Melty blood, Im thinking I found my Midler character. As for marvel, Mags is an option. I dont know yet. GGs to people at the dojo and the crack session.

Tasty, glad to play you in T6 anytime so you can get use to the movement, but I think you need to stop trying to only do ewgf lol.

If I remember right you need to look at which way the shadows are going or something like that. I’d play it again to remember and check but tasty has my converter and I can’t play that game on keyboard. :stuck_out_tongue:
