Boxing day 1 was… 1/2 day 1. I won’t be doing ANYTHING for 3 months at least in terms of actual fighting. That includes sparring. The first 3 weeks are just making sure I know how to throw a punch and after that it’s skill building with footwork and major conditioning then in 3 months or so, ring action. I should be able to compete in the next “Golden Gloves” tournament :bgrin:

And If that was for me yes I do play TVSC that is my number 1 game right now 2 would be ssf4 and I just got Blazblue still learning with that one but I straight love TVSC, I turned my first TE round 1 in to a wii TE, I love it. but I mostly use my custom for PS3 games.I wish I would of waited because they released wii boards rite after I ripped apart my Wii SE. I will probably make a wii custom in the future if TVSC2 ever happens I can’t wait to come play!!!
Man you’re a saint I just bought a SE stick and I’m about to get a TE next week for the 360 I been getting back into SSF4 hopefully I can work with Cammy a lil more and also training with Chun as well I guess multitasking with I also play BBCS hopefully my job get more people in soon cause this overtime has been wearing me out. Also Adam send me a PM the Cammy move sets you want me to learn and if anybody play with Chun-li let me know.
i was thinking of everyone playing for the TEs that night. not sure if you meant for the end of your ranbat season for the top two finishers. it sounds like you guys are struggling to have a decent supply of good joysticks to use when you get together and play.
I meant on that night. Having two more sticks in our community would be a great/helpful thing too.

It’s part of a youth intervention/after school type thing so they get grants and funding from the city and the state. The only thing you pay for is the handwraps ($5). Problem is it’s only M-Th 5PM-7PM so if I get this new job I don’t know if I’ll be able to stick around :-\ hopefully there are more gyms, free or not.
But please believe I’ll be doing it steady until I have to quit.
Brian: Just SF4 and Tekken? Or SF4, Tekken, BB, others?
The only other gyms I could find was the one right in down town, Third Avenue Gym, and another one outside of the city that’s turned out several people who got a world title fight, Tom Yankello’s World Class Boxing Gym. If money and travel aren’t a huge issue but scheduling is, there’s always these two.
i might be able to make it this Friday (September 17) if i can get the day off. Normally I have every other Friday off but my staffing coordinator told me as of yesterday they are overstaffed for Friday and if it stays that way (no call offs) then I can have Friday off. Concerning the sticks they would be MVC2 TEs both for PS3. They’ve been collecting dust at my local Gamestop for months now. I would get an Xbox 360 TE if they had one but they don’t.

The 3rd Ave gym was locked up during their posted business hours and the number on the door was disconnected. There’s a “for rent” sign on the window but there’s still trophies in it. I’m gonna ask the coach tonight if there’s any other gyms around just in case I can’t stay at that one due to work.
I have a job interview at 8am tomorrow and I’m hoping I can get morning hours like… 5am-? so I can do more like play more shit and train.
