my ps2 stopped reading burned games after a week of playing, its weird. it reads games and dvds but not burned games. maybe my burner isnt working right
Oh yeah? Hard mod? Soft mod? If it’s hard-modded, maybe one of the wires got loose or something. I could look at it sometime for you if you want.
I use a hacked memory card…
it stopped reading the games and wouldn’t read regular dvd movies. I adjusted the laser and it reads dvds again but not the games. I really think its my burner
Why use a hacked mem card if you had a chip I could install it. I think to date I have modded around 50 ps2s. Would get another one but my ps3 plays ps2 games so no. Thinking about getting a japanese 360 tho for the Cave Shmups!!
Aren’t the CAVE shmups region free?
Also, hacked mem card removes the reason for installing the chip Sherrone :-p

Unfortunately cave shmups are not reigon free… sucks but it’s true. Well arc system works brought over dwathsmiles
2 of them are (Mushihime-sama Futari and Espgaluda 2), the rest aren’t. Totally thinking about getting a Japanese 360 for the same reason.
And Deathsmiles is lolilicious. Love that game, played it a lot at UFO when I was still in Austin, even though I suck at it.

I still say if your going to hack do it the right way, the chipped way. And as far as shmups go I have just realized I can play crazy bullet japanese newer shmups, but i get my butt kicked in Raiden Fighters. On a side note why the heck is Chris Hanson one of the tags for this thread?

I always thought guilty gear looked awesome…Is that worth learning now?
^ Not really I wish, I know blaz is suppose to take the place of it. But it just doesn’t have that crazy allure that Guilty has, I remember the first time I pulled a false roman cancel combo with Johnny I thought I was the shiz. Then Malik preceded to destroy me with Faust. EVEN THE CHARACTERS IN GUILTY WE BETTER!!! Come they had a 7 foot tall dude with a paper bag on his head and he opened doors, and poked people in the butt! DOORS!!!

I still cherish my single round win against Kyle with Faust to this day.
Especially since that’s only 1 of 2 games I could get a round in on anyone here when I first got here.
Guilty Gear is a great series. The US scene seems to have fallen apart a bit though.
