Man it blows my mind how much this scene has grown, and gotten so strong, and so many good players now. And everyone I come play you guys I see the leveling up. It’s crazy. I remember 5 years ago, when this was 4 dudes. On a good day. Lol.
Jake set the example. Everyone now should have no doubt in there mind what were capable of and whats possible. There’s so much talent here, and we are all on the same level.
It’s all about playing at the get togethers, and sharing knowledge and leveling up. I’ve never not seen Jake at one, and look how it paid off. I’m gunna try to make it down at least once a week.
Kicking myself for not learning the new matchups. I didn’t do my homework, and I paid for it. Lesson learned, don’t come to tournaments unprepared. It won’t happen again.

It was 1 hour of sleep. But that’s not why I lost to Wolfkrone. I would have lost to him that day had I gotten 1 hour of sleep or 12 hours. I got better since then, but he still beat me at this one.

On Saturday, 8/21, there is going to be a tournament in Columbus. My friend Sean would let us crash if we choose to go that route as well. There is going to be a ssf4 tournament, a possible low tier marvel tourney and Detroit has agreed to play us in a special event. I’m thinking we do a five on five, maybe 10 or 20 per person and the team that gets the most wins, takes the pot. Are any of you interested in doing this?
