sad tiger shots kept making bad decisions and screw these new characters and matchups. tourney was pretty rag tag, had half as many setups as promised and spent about an hour waiting for my turn.

This was a bittersweet tourney for me, I was hoping to do a bit better since this might be the last time I get to use Fei in a competitive tourney. (Depending on what they “do” to fix the infinite on the 15th) I might be switching to a new main. Either Able, Cody, or one of the other new chars. Right now I’m looking at Able and Chun though.
You’re making a character selection based on a broken infinite on a single 950 health character? or does the infinite work on more people other than juri?

I think it’s more along the line of whether they nerf Fei’s CW, as opposed to changing Juri’s hitbox. In SF4 they added more startup time to his CW instead of changing the hitboxes for Seth and Abel. Dunno what they gonna do for SSF4.

Good point. Capcom dropped the ball on that one. Is the start up the same as post sf4 patch and they have to further nerf it to fix the juri infinite?
The current CW is the same one from “PRE” Patch SF4 they just changed seth and ables hitbox so the infinite doesn’t work on them any more but for some reason didn’t check any of the new characters, I have a feeling that capcom is going to take the lazy route and just slap the sf4 post-patch CW back on Fei.
This move would easily drop Fei to bottom tier as it will kill his meter managment/fireball avoidance/ damage potential unless he gets something to compensate which I know that they won’t.

Nam vs. Sanford was amazing! Nam was going toe to toe with him, he even got Sanford to throw a random ultra because he couldn’t predict Nam’s fireball game! I couldn’t have been more proud.

Nam pushed Sanford to the limit. It was awesome. I will say this though. If anyone from Pittsburgh would have been in Inthul’s bracke,. he might have got bodied hard. He did A TON of unsafe shit that I know you guys know how to punish.
It makes me really sad to think that If I would have beaten Skye. We might have had some Fei vs Fei action later in the tourney.
Nam thanks for the advice during that match btw. If I would have calmed down and really thought about the match, I should have beat Skye. I crushed him the first set and just got lazy and predicable in the rest. That being said, I really am at a loss for the Sagat matchup.
