I am a pittsburgh player who has recently discovered this post and is trying to link up with higher level players so I can become better. Get back at me and let me know if there is anything lined up for the future.

We will most likely be playing games at the art institute of pittsburgh next friday but if you keep an eye on this thread people post up for games randomly.
The Facebook group is mostly used for when we run ranking battles.
The Twitter page is used for … whatever twitter does.
Right now we mostly play SSF4 and T6 but we have people that play just about everything.
I use it to promote our ranking battles and casuals :razz: Yeah if I show up I’ll always bust out some Breaker’s Revenge or Eternal Champions or other stuff. The most popular one is Magical Drop 3. My friend Paul might start showing up so Mortal Kombat 3/Trilogy is a rising option as well. Fuck those new games, I’m not playin anything that came out after 2001. Except KOF2k2.
Couple of my friends up here are working on their game. One is just starting out but messed with vanilla a little but now has a Marvel Stick(he’s undecided on a char); the other guy is a fightpad seth player who isn’t that bad at all. I invited the seth/ken to a endless battle with more misc people and he def held his own against a really good cody. They both need to work on the fundamentals but they’re looking solid, we’ll see with time.

My Akuma is sitting at 90-100th in N.America, def got sidetracked last night. I searched for an 8 player team battle and def found one. Everyone was on their mic and I went first then took out their whole team, so much bitching from the other side. Then we ran it back and even more, went 2nd.
Even messing around with Halo and some other online stuff SSF4 holds the record for being called a “N” in the most amount of times. Funny how some people act and after I taunted after doing every move i’d prob get shot @ a tourney trying the same stuff…on 2nd thought I think I will continue to taunt even @ tourneys.
I’m thinking ShinAkuma when I play as akuma and try to make him as unstoppable as possible, getting a mindfuck or 2 in during a round with taunting then punishing for trying to punish me for taunting makes my job easier.
Online play… um… Who cares?
Some really stupid shit happened with my family in the past few days so no ECT for me. I doubt I’ll have my vehicle back any time soon either let alone money to go to any tournaments
edit: Bandit, online I’m 100% with Abel, especially against Sagat. I’ve never lost with Abel online. I don’t even fucking play him. I won with roll, mashing rekkas, and mashing super and ultra against fireball characters.
If you’re confident in your Akuma come down and play. Otherwise no one cares about how high ranked you are.
