Despite that being the truth, not everyone here is good at Street Fighter or Tekken. No, it’s not ECT, Season’s Beatings, or anything else, but it’s still more variety than watching Adam and Jake beat on everyone and eachother with Sagat all the damn time.

Why is everyone going on Friday, I thought there was no money involved on that day and it is only on Saturday for cash?
Some of us actually like anime :-p That’s why. I have people from out of town as does Jesse and Herb likes to do more than just play the games. All the smash players will probably be at the con so Stephone has a reason to be there more than one day.
Also, it’s not just about the money for some of us less skilled players. On top of that, you guys say “Oh don’t go just go to take the money” but then complain there’s only 10 or so of us. This is one of those times where you do more than just go beat the shit out of everyone and take everything and leave, this is a time where you actually find people to come out and play after the con is done and over with.
But I mean we could just keep it small and Adam, Nate, Jake, and TJ can keep playing each other and go to tournaments once or twice a year from here on out. Up to you guys. I’ll be trying to find more players and enjoying myself.
As a side note: SF4 made a lot of people more serious about fighters. It’s been over a year since release. I’ll laugh my ass off if any of you walk in expecting SF4 or Tekken to be free and meet up with someone totally unexpected.

On the other hand I did get to drive stick for the first time in years and it felt great.

IIRC wasn’t it Tekko that me, you, and TJ originally met? There was such a small turnout we ended up just doing round robin, which IIRC you won. God that was a whilllle back, 2004 IIRC.
Honestly the more I think about it, why don’t we just have our own 3 v 3 and singles tournaments next week at Duquesne? We’d automatically have a better turnout and level of players lol.
