In the case of Sentinel I would say this is true. The only thing that confuses me is why this game places such a strong emphasis on OTG. Lots of characters entire strategy revolves around bouncing people off the ground for their best combos.

Tron enjoys her otg combos. Team lucky hit required (tron/random/sentinel) gets two otg assist relaunches off a throw…and thats the short version of the combo. Sadly, she also needs mad luck to land a damn hit in the first place.
Speaking of which, I demand a win credited in my direction for stuffing those two disrupters with tron heavy and cancelling into nothing both times. It’s impossible to suck more at drill than i do.

Man I won’t even think about touching Dragon Age 2 until a few months from now. If I bought it I would totally stop playing MvC3. 
Plus I seriously need to upgrade my PC.

Can you cancel dash with jab? I saw you could with block. Also they were saying this is a very early build of the game so stuff will be different at final release. And sub-zero has an infinite.

Where do you play at? I’m down with somebody wanting to play MK. Yeah, you can cancel dash with jab, but it doesn’t seem too great because dash has a bit of startup. What’s this Sub Zero inf?
I’m at Duquesne University right outside of downtown. I have a small car though so as long as there’s parking I could get anywhere.
I don’t know what the infinite is but someone mentioned it in one of the front page threads in the comments, didn’t tell much more than that. It’d be hilarious if it was a roundhouse in the corner thing though highly unlikely.
The dash jab: Meh, I noticed the dash seemed a bit slow on startup and was hoping you could sort of inverted kara I guess? I don’t know. Guess I’ll see for myself.

I hope it’s Freeze > Something > Freeze> Something > Freeze >etc. Or maybe even Freeze > Freeze > Freeze > etc. That’d be hype.

Freeze doesn’t do damage unless they changed the properties of it and they have made multiple games. I’m sure they’re a bit smarter than that and thought about it, especially since they didn’t do it in MK1. If you freeze someone twice once they’re frozen you freeze yourself. So if you’re not blocking you’ll get hit.
They might just make it so it cancels the freeze, but I don’t know, and if they took the ability to use 2 harpoons with scorpion out of a combo I’m pretty sure they’d make it so there’s a cap on freeze. If not I’m betting it won’t be as brain dead easy since you’d have to recover from a move/combo and then perform the freeze and get it to hit again. But even the corner roundhouse infinites were harder to set up in MK2 than anything in MvC3.
Plus this isn’t even the build the play testers are playing. This is the earliest one they thought of releasing so not even the special moves are the same apparently.

MVC3 is just … i don’t know anymore, you have to block zero plus the lighting stream he leaves. So he crosses you up, the lighting keeps you grounded, and hes free to attack. This game is getting re-tarted.
