If I could somehow get Ohio and some of Philly, I bet I could at least get Buffalo and parts of Maryland to show as well. Honestly, think about, who does Columbus have that’s a top player? Nobody. They just throw bitchin’ tournaments.

Columbus has all of these plus they are in a good geographical area
Columbus and its surrounding areas also have people who actually play the game instead of strangers who talk about running tournaments

What up people? Name’s Mike “Evorgleb” Belgrove and I run the fighting game site X-ISM.com. I see a lot of you have been considering going to other cities to do tournaments, which is pretty awesome. I know there are some great players here in Pittsburgh and I honestly think the world should know. That is why I’m looking into throwing some serious Tournaments here in PGH. I was wondering who here on SRK would be interested in participating in or helping with something like that. I’m tryin to gauge interest to see if it is even worth the trouble it would take to put it together. I wouldnt be able to do it alone but I think if people were willing to get involved and help the fighting game scene here in Pittsburgh grow, it could be a great thing. Tell me what you guys think.

The trouble with Pittsburgh is we have talent but not a lot of “random’s” per say. Our talent pool is somewhat limited since there’s no public get together place with a flood of new players.We are essentially a tight knit group, but by all means if you wish to make a tournament i’d say I can guarantee at least 10 people here will show up regardless. We have no idea if people will come out of state or locally. Granted your one of many who have come out of the blue saying they’re going to throw up some tournaments so forgive us if we come off as very skeptical. If you really want our support I suggest you come to one of our get together’s and meet us.
