Bolt and Pulse sorry I couldn’t make it out. Me and the girl were doing some running around, I thought after a stop at steak and shake we would be able to make it but she did a little more shopping. The Thread is fairly new but this particular local scene has been around for a few years. Since Vanilla SF4.

If you are interested in coming out for some sessions or to play in our local events, I will be running events alongside with AbstrkVandal every Friday at SageMantis GAME-HAVEN starting at 7:00pm, but if you plan on entering the events please be there by 6:00 for registration. If you are unfamiliar with the LAN center and it’s location, it is located at 10817 Tidewater TRL Suite 125, Fredericksburg VA 22408, come check it out sometime.

Awesome. I’ll have to see week by week whether I can make it in time for the tournaments as I have to contend with I-95 traffic to get back to Fredericksburg from work, but I’ll definitely try my best. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah I definitely hope we can see some more people over at Sages . We had a solid showing last Friday and some good streams that hit Twitch. Richmond and Warrington where are you at?!?! We’re ready to take on every city outside of our own and take this nation wide.

How late do you guys usually stay on Friday, and are there casuals alongside the tournament? I’m finding that I tend to leave my office around 6 - 7pm and won’t be able to get to the venue until 8 - 8:30 pm. I really want to come out but I don’t think I can actually make it in time for the tournament proper.

We usually start around 7, we also do have casual matches starting around 6 as well as during the off-days. Other than that if you know of any other players pass the word on too, we are looking to rebuild the scene and meet new players from all walks of life.

I noticed there’s a Tekken tournament at same time in Richmond and I was wondering if perhaps if people are going to that instead, but I figure it doesn’t hurt to try.

I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to Sage Mantis tomorrow, but is anyone going to Rver City Runbacks 2 on Saturday? I’m really out of practice on VF5 and playing TTT2 and DoA5 have made it difficult to get back into the groove but I want to play against some actual people, so I’ll be entering that tourney.

Wake up ultras at wegmans: Woodbridge this Sat 5-7 pm at the home of the Woodbridge FGC and darn good sandwiches, wegmans, right off of 95. We’d love anyone local or from f-burg/dmv who can’t make it to xanadu monthly.
