I’m still interested in the Cleveland tournament, I won’t know my plans until the week before, but once I know I will be sure to inform you all.
@Spencer - how could your zero combo get any better than it already is?!? By the way, I won’t in Fort Wayne until Saturday this weekend in case you wanted to play.
It does more damage, and if I fuck it up at the hard part, I’m safe, and I have a mix-up.
I watched ALOT of zeros today… and their combo’s are ASS. I only saw one combo that wasn’t a copy from Marn, and to be honest, it was a sweet combo. But I seriously feel Like I have one of the best Zeros right now, and he’s getting much better. (Also, Marn found my new team, or vice-versa, but it’s made zero better)
But I’ve had a really productive night, pretty much all my characters have leveled up, about to go back in and see what has stuck.
Brent, I can rent a car for $21 - $29 a day. Dave is welcome to join us if he wants a ride over, but he’ll have to make it up.
Yeah honestly I’ve never seen one Zero player do a combo even remotely similar to yours, it’s very impressive. And that’s what makes this game so amazing to me, it just allows for so much creativity that it never gets old.
Nicon22, you graduated from AC in 2002? I think we might have graduated together. I had really big hair then…
Spencer - yeah Dave is going to let us know what he’s doing when it gets closer to the tourney date but if there is room for him i’m sure he would appreciate only driving 3 hours instead of 7 hours.

What kind of set / amount you guys wanna play for?
i dunno. there is 5 people involved overall. my only stip is that on 3S i will only bet equal or less than the amount of money i’m betting for ST. so for a 1st grade example… i had to put $5 on the line for ST, then i won’t do anything over $5 for 3S. if ST is $20 then i won’t go higher than $20 for 3S. if y’all want to go $1,000,000 for ST and $1 for 3S i’m fine with that because 3S can be less than or equal to the ST amount :eek: <<=== epic face

Saturday was fun. Sorry I had to step out for a bit due to my girlfriend. I definitely enjoyed it and will try to make it again.
Geez, as always, I have to hit the lab HARD this week to try to figure this game (MvC3) out.
I got a new character/team That I’m going to try to learn, as well as improve another character.
Oh ya, and AE is out…So I guess I gotta pick up a Twin/Oni/Relearn Cammy for the 3rd time for the time being for that game.
Ugh, AE couldn’t be any worse to me. The nerf to Honda is too much in my opinion. The jab headbutt can be stuffed too easily. I’m so used to using that simple move that it led to easy combos for several opponents today. I know that I was doing the move properly because the reversal icon would come out each time. So, I tried going to the ex version of the headbutt. It feels painfully off. Times where I want it to come out just feel too tight.
Honda’s second ultra has a gap that feels like Balrog’s throw. It’s not exactly that slow but it’s pretty close. The only move that feels a little better is the sumo splash. It feels closer to Vinalla which is really nice.
Frustrated, I switch back to Super and everything was coming out great. These nerfs make Honda unplayable for me on this version. I know it’s early to make such a judgement but after four hours with this, I’m pretty sure he isn’t going to work for me. I’m really not sure who I’ll use now.

@Brent - Hey got your message, did you make that purchase for AE yet? I’m most likely never going to myself, but I will definitely have to give it a try the next time we hang out, maybe I will like Yun or Yang, or possibly Makoto.
