Sorry for not posting earlier. This week has been busy. I wasn’t able to make it to play last week due to school shenanigans. Same thing this week actually.

But anyway, BlazBlue CS2 should be coming to consoles soon which is pretty hype!

Yeah, and they are “improving the netcode”. I can’t believe I might actually enjoy playing it online again. Too good to be true.

Can’t wait to see if there were any balance changes in the most recent MvC3 patch.

It was pretty much just glitch patches nobody else lost 400k health! I’m still having trouble deciding who to main in CS2, but I’ve always had that problem in BlazBlue because a majority of the characters are pretty cool.

Online in CS1 wasn’t bad with people in the area. I had troubles finding good connections otherwise though. Getting a 5 with the other guys who own the game in town was cool though.

Xero, do you play BB online much? I have the game. I was getting into it, having rei-Scarred give me help and practice for awhile. This was months ago but I still have the urge to play the game, especially when the new version arrives. I’m mainly a SF player but learning BB was neat when I was doing it. I was learning Valkenhayn and I’ll probably give Platinum a good shot when she arrives.

Anyway if you like to play that online perhaps I’ll get some matches with you and that will double as a chance for me to catch back up to what I was learning. I live in Decatur so I don’t have the good internet companies to pick from like Fort Wayne does so the connection might be crummy but it might be worth a shot. I’d obviously rather do this in person but I know it’s hard to get us all together face-to-face. We hope to see you and your friends come out one of these weekends.

I don’t know about the others but I’ll be gone the next two weekends for tourneys. Hopefully in May we can get together some weekend to play.

I used to play it all the time, but my copy of the game was messed up so I have to get it resurfaced. That’s like $5 but I’ve been putting it off, I should probably get that done this week or so. It still works, but it randomly freezes one out of every four games or so, so I haven’t been very enthusiastic about playing it recently. But when I get it fixed I will be glad to play! We have been playing Street Fighter a little too, but the two of us who actually play are pretty bad at it.

I’m pretty rusty at BlazBlue since MvC3 came out though, I keep trying to pushblock random stuff. Sometimes I forget that S is drive and think it’s going to launch too, lol.

Biggest change I’ve noticed in the MVC3 patch: Ammy got a lil’ nerf aka Brent’s Amy+Sent combo don’t work no-more. You can’t combo the ->H x2 now, it’s affected by hitstun deterioration. Soo…yay! Doesn’t really matter though, because it’s -3 on block, and the fastest move in the game has 4 frames of start up…so she can still do it all day :’( Best thing I’ve found is to get lucky an either get an assist to hit her, or hit her before she can start it… Man, I should have went to the bible earlier and found all that shit out. I feel so scrubby right now…

Brent, those two tournies…your talking about the Indy and Power-up right?

I lost first round of the rev tourney to the best Ragna I’ve ever fought even though I had never even heard of him. Kind of bittersweet but I’m glad it’s over. It was single elim.

On the bright side it wasn’t so laggy that I couldn’t do all my combos. Not good enough that I could block the constant overheads he was doing, though.

Hey guys. UFGT7, Chicago’s Evo Tournament Season qualifier, is only a month and a half away. You only have two weeks left to register at the normal rate, and orders for T-shirts and Stick-Bags will also cut off when we move to Late registration pricing. Pre-registration is mandatory this year. If you choose to register at the door, you will be paying the Emergency Registration fee. Registering this way means that you must be in line by 11am on Friday the 27th or you cannot be entered into any of the bye slots in the pools, as well, and you cannot be regionally seeded as the brackets will already be made.

The event is a full 3-day tournament being held Memorial Day Weekend (May 27th - 29th). Hotel rooms are the same low rate of $69/Night as last year. We’ve more than doubled our ballroom space and will be running 32-man-or-less pools for every game on the roster. We want to make sure your time is well managed and that you don’t spend time waiting around. Our increased space allows us to have ample room for BYOC, and for other special guests and activities.

Clem, Castle Shikigami 2 is on the dreamcast, Idk why I didn’t try to look for it on there sooner, that thing is a shmup machine after all.

Mars Matrix/Ikaruga are still the most batshit crazy bullet hells for the DC though.
