the gaming history videos have some good tidbits of a way of thinking about competitive gaming, as well as an interesting story or two. the human potential video delves even deeper into the mental aspect of things so it’s really the focus.

Dave, let us come out with a much much superior video. superior in every aspect, it will be. well it might hurt Mike’s feelings so perhaps we’ll sit on our hands for now and let his video have it’s time to shine. ok actually he had 4 people working on his video so let’s pick up the talents of Spencer and Josh to help our cause. how can we go wrong?

Joking aside, what did you really think?
Oh don’t worry Mike. It was well done. It had nice combos, and although the music is not to my tastes, it’s to the tastes of virtually every single Blazblue combo video I think I have ever seen, so you hit the mark well on that. No Valk combos though? No Makoto either seemed weird to me as well, but that’s all I could think of.
There’s one valkenhayn combo in the credits. I could have made more but I didn’t think of it until the video was done. I know absolutely nothing about Makoto though. Nothing I couldve done there.
Edit: Oh Brent I don’t know how interested you’d be, but here’s some of the most impressive Valkenhayn gameplay I’ve seen from the new game. Hima used to be a beast Arakune player (top 4 at SBO) but he’s switched to Valk. He uses wolf form mobility and mixup extremely well. Also you’ll notice he saves his meter for counter assaults.

yes he did very well with Vorcanhayn. there were a few times i have no clue why he didn’t use the meter in the Makoto fight. must be another Japanese pro thing that we can’t understand.

bahaha I actually didnt notice that the first time. I guess my ears are trained to deal with terrible announcers. BB needs Jameison Price so bad. Dunno about the Makoto fight though. Maybe he was so concerned about defense he wanted to make sure he had 2 CAs if need be. Doesn’t really explain the first round though.
Also I just noticed he wouldve lost round 2 and the whole thing, but Makoto only got lv2 on the Particle Flare that wouldve killed him XD

Mike, I saw your video, the start had promise, but i felt it went on for too long, idk, the music was the biggest downfall imo. I would have liked to have seen invididual credit to the combo makers per combo also ala cyberfanatix or kofunion? Idk, their stuff is sooo fucking heavy on the after effects, but they do alot of things well.
I did Noel Tager Bang and Ragna (except the first one). The editor did Mu, and the other characters were the other two guys. I don’t know why they didnt put that in the description. At first I didn’t think it was that long, but after watching it 8 or so times I start to get sick of it.

welp time to go watch the blazblue sbo videos from the DVD that finally made it to the internet. Can’t wait to see how badly America got owned lol.
