if you have no clue how to use photoshop i dont suggest making your own art, maybe get someone that knows how to use it to make a design for you. but then again photoshop isnt that arhd at all…
w00t just got my stick from DF Works great, I just have to figure out the best position to use it. It’s hard because our TV is rather low to the floor, so I can’t really do a standing gig like an arcade.
miyuru is that the “bigger” or “smaller” case suggested on DF`s site?
Can I order a Dreamcast stick?
I asked for the smaller cabinet, though I forget the actual dimensions versus the larger cabinet. It’s not “small” in general though, but I still think it’s a good size, good weight, etc… Considering your right hand will sort of rest on the surface, I wouldn’t say a smaller stick is exactly “better” by any means. A shorter (as in height) cabinet would be nice but I don’t believe that’s as possible with a Happ stick.
pretty sure that the smaller and bigger box only applies to the sanwa boxes. I think DF only uses 1 box design for the happs sticks.
When I ordered he told me he was readying a slightly smaller cabinet for Happ sticks, so I opted for that.
hey wus going, anyone make me a GRAPHIC for my street fighter anniversary edition stick, with those dimensions and such? let me know sup
Got my custom Sanwa from DF and I must say, it’s frickin’ awesome. I love it so much, it plays like butter. I recommend anyone thinking about getting one from him to do it. It really is a quality product.
Here’s a pic of mine:

nice stick! i like the art you put on it. Godo job DF!
anybody know if the walmart ps2->gc/xbox adapter works with dualshock pcb? also, what ps2->usb converters would you guys recommend?
Well if you are using a ps 1 controller pcb like d-fist constructs with, then a good ps to usb converter I would reccomend would be the radioshack converter. Works perfectly for me when I’m playing online and whatnot.
Got my stick today, very impressed by your work DF. Anybody that has any doubts over headset/lag issues with Xbox Live then just get a Xbox PCB and you’re sorted :bgrin:
Anyhoo here’s a pic:

And no, i did the stick design before DS put up his champloo sticks, so the idea was all me >_<
is that a sanwa with a bat top or is that just a happ stick?
Sanwa with screw on bat top
well i got my stick this weekend and its actually better than i could have hoped for. anyone who is undecided or unsure where to get the best stick, DF is the answer. maybe ill have some pics in the future.
Are japanese style sticks better than others? I dont own any joysticks or enterered any tournaments but i want to. And do tournament supply joysticks are they any good or do most people bring in there own?
It’s all about what you like. Japanese sticks usually have square actuators, which are better for dragon-punch joystick motions (shoryukens), while American style joysticks with round actuators make it a little easier to do 360 type motions (Zangief’s spinning piledriver, for example). There’s also the issue of the the joystick shape - ball top, bat top, etc., which is again a matter of personal taste.
I think most people bring their sticks in tournaments. I’m pretty sure they do at Evolution, anyway.
