just got my stick but it doesn’t work with the magicbox converter i just paid $25 for. it keeps pausing and unpausing and there is also some lag.
Did you try it on a playstation/playstation 2 to see if it’s the converter that does it or the stick?(pausing and unpausing).

the converter should work with all playstation controllers. And I used a sony pad for your gut. One of my customer told me the magic box worked great, but he had to cut away some plastic to fit the headset plug in.
I have a psx pcb on my stick. I also have the magic box and is crap. It keeps pausing an un-pausing like you said.
So I got the Dreambox instead and it works like a charm. There is no delay when I play online either.

On another note, my friend has the dragon adapter from levelsix, and that one works with the sony digital pads I use for my sticks as well. It has the ps to xbox and gc output.

if the shipping from lik-sang is too much, you might want to consider the dragon adapter.
have you tested the dragon adapter yourself? i don’t want to get another adapter and have it not work.
I was looking at the Dragon adapter too. The only reason I did not get it is cause it doesn’t have a slot for the memory unit or the headset adapter.
The only problem from Lik-Sang is based in Hong Kong so it might take a while for the item to arrive.
the reason i didn’t order the dreambox in the first place was because lik-sang was the only place i could find that had it and it would have taken over a month to be shipped here. Plus their shipping prices are over the top. if you are positive that the dragon adapter works then i will get it.
Hi DF sorry for taking so long to reply, but didnt want to do a quick review because you deserve more then that. Also sorry but this post will be a little long but I think any potential customers should know how great your customer service is.
Anyways first like to mention his great business ethics. I’m from Canada and I order a stick from him and when I received it I had to pay a fee of $50 CAD. Of course I was angry but this wasnt DF fault, its just how UPS deals with cross border shipments. So I emailed him and told him of the situation and he confirmed everything. I asked for a reimbursement and I really wasnt expecting to get it. He emailed me back and said he would and apologized for what happened even though it wasnt his fault. On top of all this he was even willing to change the way he normally sends money (I didnt want pay pal so he took the time to mail me the money in a secure envelope). We agreed on $35 CAD which is 70% of the fee I had to pay. This is a huge amount considering that he really didnt need to pay me back.
Before I bought the stick he answered all my questions and concerns. He gave me opinions on varies options for the stick. In all his emails he was very courteous and straight forward.
The stick works great and its very stable. The stick has no trouble hitting corners and he even tests them before he ships them out which is very good idea I think.
This post sounds a little biased, but there were really no problems with the stick. I went without plexi so the stick had a strong smell of spray paint on it but after airing it out for a couple days it was fine.
He supplies great service and a quality product. I havent purchased a stick from anyone else but his service alone would make me choose him. Ive already planned for my second stick from him. One final note a friend of my dropped by to check out the stick and he said, This is a better version of the sticks at my arcade. Thanks again Dreaded Fist.

yeah, true indeed. You also don’t have to fill out a bunch of paperworks with USPS.
UPDATE*all shipping to canada will be Express Mail from now on. The reason why is because it’s only $5 more, and it will get there two times faster than standard airmail. USPS online click N ship also only provide express and express expedite. It’s too much of a bother to send things via standard mail because i would have to go down to the post office which is 30 min away, and wait about 30 minutes to an hour in line. With Express mail, I can just print out a label, stick it on the package and hand it to the mail carrier.

I’m sure that the dragon adapter will work because I’ve use it before. But another person also used the “incompatible” magicbox and got it to work so don’t take my word on it. Level six should have a return option so if it doesn’t work out then you can just return the dragon adapter.
Got my stick, works beautifully. Friend got his a few days before mine, we pretty much spent the last few days breaking em in. Probably hear from me in about a month or so for my other.

I’m glad you like the stick man. let me know how the extra pad works out for you. I didn’t know if you wanted to use it for a 360 stick or not so I just went ahead and include the hookups. Just connect the big red wire to the red wire on the 360 and the big black wire to the black on the 360.
