I watched Clerks again to train myself how to properly act in that work environment.
You turned him down by trying to sell him a lottery ticket and then acted all shocked and dismayed when he pays with the bill you know you can’t break. This is why random drunks call you an idiot in the middle of the night or whatever I make this shit up as I go along because runon sentences are fun, Weeeee!!!
and you’re a dick
geez, people like you are annoying sometimes. not everyone knows what to do about everything in every situation
You are not fit for customer service…leave it ASAP.
They know what not to do, make a shit thread about being a moron at their brain dead job. Fuck outta here. Let one slide and we will be overrun by this guy and everyone like him.
This shit is a thread yet we gotta shut down the lounge after every 20 or so posts from The Damned. Where the fuck is Sho at anyways?
That’s not true, I’ve been considered a good employee by all my employers for over 5 years working as a CSR at different companies. But, honestly I don’t like it, so maybe I’m not fit for it.
Yeah okay. You’re wrong for calling the guy a retard. You know if the register is not right he might catch shit for that.
If you read his posts, he said he regularly turn people turn for breaking 100’s and they pay with other shit. So with his previous experience, he assumed the guy had other bills. He was wrong and should have asked if the customer still wanted to buy the stuff, but he did not.
Now why isn’t the customer ever the idiot when the customer asked if he could break 100, but he said no?
The retard in this situation is obviously the customer. I realize that goes against what all Americans are told, but it’s true. Customers are capable of being wrong, miserable, childish pieces of shit, and that’s what happened here.
If you’re in an establishment of some kind and you feel you’ve been inconvenienced in some way, that doesn’t give you justification to be an asshole–not to the employees, not to the other customers, not to anybody. There is never justification for treating somebody poorly just because they’re doing what they have to do and aren’t in a position to fight back. In this situation, all the retard points go directly to you for foisting your shitty personality upon the world.
We all knew from the get go that the customer was an overbearing douche with a bloated sense of entitlement, I was merely pointing out to the op that he was also in that same category. I have dealt with the same exact situation before and trust me, no one called me an idiot, nor did I have to go online and “vent” about it either.
Even better yet, because I am not a souless fuck that shits apathy and curses the sunlight, I was able to resolve simple situations like that before they happened by asking simple fucking questions.
This thread is *completely *not what I came in here for. I read FORNICATION and thought that it was just the right thread for me.
Sounds to me that you’re giving yourself big credit for circumstances you had a small hand in creating.
thought this thread would be about sex… my bad
Trust me, I had no hand in creating the mediocre travesty that is the OP’s life.
And I have big hands btw…
Lol, congrats you have a crystal ball and can see the future and react perfectly so that no person ever calls you an idiot in any situation. Unlucky for us mortals, I don’t have that ability.
You should be proud of your ability as a cashier. I’ll visit you at your wall-mart after I’m done getting my graduate degree and maybe you can teach me a thing or two.
Shouldn’t be carrying 100 dollar bills anyway.
I went to Long Doggers with some friends of mine one night. After we ate I went to the restroom before we left.
I get ready to do my business and low and behold, there was a 50 dollar bill just sitting there looking at me. I’m an honest guy and if I saw someone DROP any kind of cash I would tell them that they dropped it. However, I got a free 50 bucks all because some guy stuffed the 50 dollar bill in his pocket and it fell out when he pull down his trousers to take a dump. Learn from this guys lesson, SRK!
Are you fucking kidding me? OP are you a troll? How fucking oversensitive are you kids that someone wanting to break $100 and was mildy rude is such a massive life-breaking trauma? How was this even worth ranting about? Holy fuck, if you had to deal with a serious problem, I’d worry about you going nuts with an AR15 because your emotions are so fragile. You might want to take a deep breath before you have yourself a breakdown.
This thread is so fun to read, sadly I know it’ll end soon. I would have ended up doing something that got me fired in my younger days given the same situation.
Just out of curiosity, in which part of the OP’s story do his emotions become unreasonably heightened or beyond the level of aggravation warranted by the situation? A “massive, life-breaking trauma” in other words?
didn’t say it was a good thread, just saying your response to him was pretty fuckin stupid, as if expecting him to answer how you would. not everyone’s prepared for every situation. if we were, there wouldn’t be a need for things like languages and internet forums
i agree he coulda handled it better, i also think that the only reason it’s getting to him is because he’s unfamiliar with the shit people try to pull. don’t think he took a skinny dip into moron-hood though
