Good video! I haven’t touched USF4 since summer when I sold my 360 but your video is really helping me level in Xrd against characters with incredible pokes that keep me on the defense like Sin.
That’s why you disrupt it with just more than 1 whiff punish. You disrupt it with jump in combos, throws, ultras, block stun, etc. Sometimes, that jump HK turns into a sweep.
And also, when you record, you don’t just press cr. MK. You can mash it, you can buffer it into a special, you can hold up during the animation, you can do all sorts of stuff.
So when you disrupt it with more than just one move, you can get a wide variety of results from the dummy.
It isn’t perfect, but it’s better than what you’re describing.

Same here. Then I’ll play games with the AI. No jumping, only use X normal, etc…
To practice Rose’s Reflect I always train against hardest AI Sagat. He will chuck plasma if you stand half screen away, no matter what. So it’s a nice random pattern of low, high, ex tiger shots.

Original video recorded two low forwards, a jump in, then 2 more low forwards.
So even if I disrupt the recording with a whiff punish, I know that he will only ever jump either immediately after my whiff punish, or after a low forward.
You sure about that?
