Really looking forward to my parts! This is my first time ordering anything for my arcade stick, and I’m sure I’ll be satisfied!

Thanks for the support! If there is any reason why you aren’t upon receiving your shipment, please let myself or @Jenni know and we’ll address it right away.

Love the new site. It’s always been a pleasure doing business with you guys.

Also, it’s been a few months since I bought my crown 307f stick from you, and I love it.
Feels like it broke-in nicely. The more I play it, the better.

I’m sure you hear this question a lot, but is there a possibility of you guys carrying the “ST” version or at least the silicone grommets in the near future? and when?

Thanks

It not been a question I’ve heard from in about 2-3 months, actually. I spoke to my supplier about it before pushing into the redesign, and then I believe we both lost track of time.

I’m sending a message to my supplier about the CWL-307FJ-JMS-ST and CWL-307FJ-SMS-ST to see if he has them in stock, or possible to order with my next restock.

Since there are about 24 configurations of the 307 model, I won’t try to carry all of them, but will focus on the ones I figure most will pick up for now.

Wanted to add that I believe @wazwuz was looking to whether it was worthwhile to carry a silicone grommet. I’ll check with him about this.

So my stuff came into, and honestly, it was a kinda “meh” first impression. My order consisted of 8 Yellow HBFS, 8 Crystal plungers and caps for said HBFSs, 6 CherryMX Blues, a Hayabusa and 2 OBSF 24mm sanwas.

The sanwas and Hayabusa were in perfect condition, so the problem isn’t with those.

Those GamerFingers… Oh man those GamerFingers. I was shaking in my boots during the entire installation process because of the problems I found with them when I took them out of the box. For one, the plungers were not properly placed into the crystal caps. This lead to the plungers warping out of shape during the shipment, and so I had to bend them a bit to insert them properly, and let me tell you I was afraid of the plungers breaking on me while I bent them. Hopefully the plungers un-warp with some wear and tear, and hopefully it doesn’t affect the artwork I plan to place in them. Second, several of the Cherry MX Blue switches had their connectors bent, and I noticed this before I even took them out of the plastic baggy they were in. Thankfully they seem to still function fine after I bent them back to a straight position. Finally, two of the yellow HBFS buttons had their default Cherry MX Reds jammed into the sockets. When I eventually removed the microswitch from the button assembly, the entire socket that you insert the switch into came out right along with it, which lead to one of the wire connectors falling out of the assembly and me crawling on the floor for awhile looking for the two wire connectors that fell out. I managed to eventually get the red microswitches out of the sockets, but man, I was crying the whole way through out of fear.

Everything is installed now and it all works fine so I don’t think a refund is necessary. However, I would definitely hope that I don’t face the same problems if (and most likely “when”) I order from FA again in the future. This wasn’t a dreadful first impression by any means, but it definitely wasn’t as good as I initially thought it would be.

Hi @SHSL_Street_Fighter,

Thanks for the feedback regarding the GamerFingers. Though I don’t usually hear much bad news regarding GamerFinger, these are some things I can take back to Pei of GamerFinger. We don’t do anything to the buttons themselves, so possibly less than ideal units were unknowingly sent.

Regarding the cherry switches, we try to pack securely, but recognize that things can get jostled during transport. I’ll ask staff to review the state of the pins upon shipping them.

This is not a common impression of FA, if you look at testimonials on Facebook, so I hope we can do right by you next time. If you feel the GamerFinger buttons need replacing, please let @Jenni know at orders@focusattack.com and she’ll address it. GamerFinger is working on some new things, which is why I don’t have much stock of buttons right now. I’m going to send your feedback to Pei, however. He is usually responsive to suggestions.

Not sure if I just missed them with the new design, but do you plan to offer mix and match sanwa rims like you used to?

I’m afraid not. I’m not able to get them in a quantity that is worthwhile versus caps, and sales showed that few were actually buying enough rims to make the effort.

Just ordered the wrong buttons the other day and these guys were quick to check their emails and get everything sorted out for me. Now I just can’t wait for my buttons to get here to put together my Saturn stick

Placed an order last evening with fa for a number of things… then placed a second order for something I forgot. The nice folks at fa quickly refunded the shipping fee on my second order and without me ever having requested. Stand up people there. You do the community proud by doing right by people.

@FattyWinnarz & @h0taru - Thanks!

Just wanted to mention that I got a few of the silicone based CWL-307FJ-JMS-ST joysticks. Right now just 10pcs each color. I don’t yet know how they will move, so I picked up a small amount, and will increase if there is interest.

Also coming is the LS-38, LS-38-SC, and LS-38-01. Arcade Shock got exclusivity to LS-38-01-SC, so I’ll just carry the rest and bundle the converter cable at a discount if anyone wants it. That’s the breaks sometimes.

I’ll have them listed early next week.

Some stuff coming Thursday: wire by the foot. Solid color and striped - 22 AWG at 25 cents a foot with discounts at 25 feet and up. Also offering the Waldon W-HT-1921-P crimping tool for under $15. Nice piece of kit suggested by Lemony Vengeance. You’ll start to see more stuff like that in the store

Also, Sanwa JLFs are back in stock - sorry for the wait. Got hammered soon after ATOW 9 and since, so they ran out much faster than usual and I had to wait about 2-3 weeks to get more. One thing that didn’t ship was the JLFs without mounting plate. I got 50 more units of the mount plate than the 250 units I ordered; turns out the CI was incorrect. Our supplier is sending the correct batch in our next main restock. Also going to order another 250pcs soon to get the inventory back to normal so I don’t run out.

Finally some changes coming to hopefully improve navigation after the redesign. Hearing you guys loud and clear.

Been a good, heavy couple of weeks. Thanks for keeping me and the crew busy, and hope you’ll keep coming on by.

any idea when your putting up the CWL-307FJ-JMS-ST? Id love to get one.

Early next week. The LS-38 series and Crown 307 ST model will go up on Monday.

As always, thanks for the updates.
This is the MAIN reason I buy from FA. Constant updates here and via social media. I like being in the loop.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks. I’ll try to keep on the updates. Speaking of which, I asked my supplier about the Crown 309:

These new models are coming out faster than ever. No price point or retail availability yet.

Any chance you have an ETA on restocking the Link Quick Release JLF Shaft?

@Phreakazoid shipped a restock, which is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. If you subscribe to restock notification, you’ll get an email shortly after Jenni adds them back into stock.

A heads up for others: Just got a restock of Imps and MCCs from @Toodles today. Shipment came out of the blue. Admittedly he is a tough guy to get hold of.

Damn, and I bought from both YOU and @Toodles today.

Next time, I suppose

Just a quick heads up:

Seimitsu LS-38 series is also in stock: http://bit.ly/fa-seimitsu-ls38. As mentioned prior, Arcade Shock has the LS-38-01-SC exclusively, otherwise I’d also have that.

Main restock of Sanwa & Seimitsu parts are shipping soon. Unfortunately, my supplier says that Sanwa is not producing the OBSC LB-35 balltops any longer. That is why I removed them from the store when sold out. Whether that will expand to the OBSC buttons I’m not sure. If it comes back, of course I’d restock it.

Some more good products and services is coming in a few weeks.
