This maneuver is actually really easy, got it on the first try. It seems highly situational; when is it best used other than projectile baiting?

Getting people with fa, dash, ultra is a lot easier then you’d think, especially if you play chun, rog, honda or abel. People have this idea, even good players, that after forward movement, it’s safe to throw a fireball. When your 3/4 of a screen away, and a character’s just dashed, you don’t expect your fireball to be punishable, but it is.
I still remember when Aojiru guile blew threw a tiger shot after a focus attack, when the game was still new, and the whole board went nuts. Same thing’s still possible, but it seems like people just stopped attempting the really difficult maneuvers like eagle eyeing.

Yea, I can do it now without any problems. On your question… As far as I’ve seen it’s only been good for projectiles, nothing more.
I can pull the super off with Vega (Dictator) just fine, but it’s the Ultra that gives me trouble. For some reason, it won’t activate. Is there stricter timing involved? If I give myself infinite revenge gauge and no super bar, I can never get it to work.

Stop being lame man. One thing that I’ve learned is that no matter how pertinent the information may be, no matter how informative, or just flat out entertaining a thread is, there will ALWAYS be a threadcrapper.
