Damn more love for this Michael guy. Some of these things he’s doing is very petty and childish in my opinion. Aren’t we…or most of us adults here? Cut the bullshit out and just run your tournament man. All of this crap could’ve been prevented if people wouldn’t run off at the mouth tryin to act all hard and shit. Things like this are SUPPOSED to bring the gaming community together. In this case its just alienating people. This shit’s worse than black on black crime.

Registration and casuals will start at 10am and end at 11:30pm.

From there SF4, UFC 09, VF5 will begin at Noon.
GG:AC, Smash, 3S, SC4 will begin at 3pm

We anticipate between 35-64 Street Fighter players. From there, they will decide which other tournaments to enter. 20-32 are anticipated for UFC, 32-40 for Smash, and 16-20 for VF5/SC4.

Also, please visit and add Focus Cancel as a friend on your myspace page.

We are also working with BigCityTourney. They are kindly sharing their sponsors with us, and will be running the first UFC 2009 Tournament at Focus Cancel!

Marcell also produced the Focus Cancel Flyer that we printed a number of copies, and have distributed them all around key areas in Metro Columbus.

Last but not least, Perfect Legend will be playing me in a FT for $100 in Street Fighter 4 for the best in Ohio title.

When I talked to josh last weekend, he told me he wasn’t going unfortunately. BTW since he went to new york the last week and got 2nd at one of their tournaments, and won a team tournament at CF I believe along with arturo. Not to mention he’s on the midwest for the sf4 5v5 at evo, as well as the 5v5 for the HDR side event.

ActionHank is also very good at sf4, he put marn into the losers bracket at MWC which is quite an accomplishment.

I was committed to being optomistic and not getting sucked in to this shit, and I still lost repect for you guys already.

Embracing new games and trying to be more timely/professional as organizers is a cool way to go. I even believe you were right to ask for a certain amount a pre-regs before hosting unpopular games.you should have expected old-school players to be cranky and find their own venue. You handled this terribly.

I have nothing to say about your sf4 skill, never saw you play, but its silly to hold an “Ohio’s best” match at a venue that’s proven to have less than half of Ohio’s players.

It was really dirty to start attacking A.L. That dude justs wants to feed his family and play some games. He’s also taking critiques from the community a lot better than this tourny.

I get the feeling you will hold the imaginary title of Ohio’s best like a thorn in our side for a long time, I just want you to understand that not everyone had a negative opinion of you prematurely.
