obviously from the profile photos the girl wanted to be beautiful, so maybe the reporter just wanted to pay some sort of tribute to her.

The victim wanted to look beautiful on the Facebook spotlight, so when her - regrettably, murder case, is on the TV, the reporter paid tribute to what the victim wanted acknowledgement for.

Murder is so much more tragic when the victim is beautiful and white.
