i think 360 is best. due to converter issues last time. plus everyone plays on 360. unless you have good converters that don’t lag

First of all if you ask around, most people say that the PS3 version is closer to being arcade perfect. Also the reasoning for 360 being better tha n PS3 because it has 325984230957304 more threads is bullshit.
The reason why in this case PS3 would be better is because at this point and time most people have sticks with PS2 connections and already have converters (converters are like 15 bucks and don’t lag). I would know. I had the same stick for damn near a decade and a converter from radio shack and its worked fine for me. Most people in the tourney scene do not have sticks for the 360 and will NOT play on the pad. And unfortunately for 360 users, majority rules when it comes to tourneys.
Really? cuz the majority of the tournaments I’m seeings and go to is for 360.

Me and some of my friends (38 people) will only attend if it’s on ps3, and I don’t even have a ps3, and what!!

I seriously doubt that the PS3 is ‘arcade perfect’ seeing as it has a tad bit slower load times and does not have a VGA connection. This means it is shooting out a 720p signal which most HDTVs have to scale to their native resolution and causes video input lag ( as in 1-5 frame delay depending on the set).
The only advantage PS3 has is how easy it is to switch controllers and the PS2 adapters .
The 360 is superior when it is setup properly to the native resolution of the LCD it is connected to with a VGA cord and the LCD set to not process (make pretty) the image. Not that I’ve seen that setup in any tourney either.
I’m also curious to see the reports of PS3 superiority.
Does this really matter? If they said it was gonna be on the PS3 and you wont go unless its on the 360, then don’t go. Stop fucking bitching. I’d be happy to lend my stick to anyone that needs it unless I’m facing them in the tourney obviously. Then they’d need someone elses. If it’s ps3 then its ps3. why is this such a big issue?
Unless were gonna be playing on a computer monitor i can care less about VGA cables for 360 and not the ps3. i dont care wat system me personally ps3 but if were gonna have converters with no prob then im in.

If i throw down a Xbox 360 tournament only and its BYOS, would you come if you had no Xbox gear?

Sorry for the wait. I was at FR and taking care of other stuff. Anyways looks like STHD and SF4 will be on 360. However, systems for STHD and SF4 will still be on the PS3 at Willvolution 2009.

u guys do no that ppl also play with opads just no sticks. and we all no what pad is better and what ppl use. plus ppl also play sega saturn pad.and theres only one converter for that and is for ps3.
