How do they put in Mai, but not Terry(and presumably Andy)? Mai is just like a minor Fatal Fury character, and has no real plot relevance in KoF.

This is HOLLYWOOD baby! Maggie Q is like, pretty much the only Asian actress Hollywood knows about right now, so yeah she’s gonna be Mai cause that’s all they can think of! If they had to have another Asian girl character to use like say Yuri, since Maggie Q is already Mai, they dried up their resources so they’ll get a white girl to make her look Asian!
I can’t help it sometimes. I always feel the need to defend something if i disagree with it regardless of the person.
What’s crazy is how close to right you are. Christie’s casting in the Tekken movie makes me wanna 10hit Combo the production team. White girl as Christie = FAIL.
Ironically, the Dragonball move sets something of a standard as far as international casts go. It’s really not that hard. It would take me all of 7 seconds to find an Asian actress who speaks English with an okay rack to portray Mai.

But that ain’t what I go to theaters for, and I go to theaters for movies not film. Film makes for wonderful quiet DVD time. You’re gonna enjoy The Prestige while everyone’s smacking on popcorn and babies plan their next bawl during a pivotal scene? Or are you gonna watch a movie so loud and obnoxious that it drowns out that nonsense and save deeper film for later (or daytime theater viewing)?
TF did it for me that year, not to say nothing else of quality came out, but you need think about what I mean by saying TF was the best of 2007. It was a spectacle and clearly owned that Summer. But as I said, needing to explain probably means you wouldn’t want to understand it anyway.
I ain’t even hatin on Transformers really. Thing is we got people calling others ignorant cus’ “Transformer was the best movie of 2007,” and that’s bogus. Rattatouille isn’t really “thought provoking” but it’s a better movie than TF.

TF07 is really low on the list of Michael Bay action flicks, even before the TF nostalgia wears off. And for loud stupid action, 300 (March release) was better than TF for that year. But if you wanted to see a big budget action movie during the summer season, TF was the best choice for 2007.

As already mentioned 300 was a way better popcorn flick then Transformers. You having to explain why TF is the best of 07 has very little to do with me not wanting to understand. Shit i think Tokyo Drift is a blast and one of the better car based movies to come out in a long time because it does everything you want from a Car movie. It’s got fast cars drivin fast and makin loud noises while lookin cool. But for you to go on about TF being the best movie of 07 and sayin *and this guy notes “No Country…”, is he serious here? * makes you sound dumb.
P.S. I’m sorry your movie theaters are full of babies and loud ass mother fuckers. That really sucks. Mine rock. Movies and film are meant to be seen on the big screen.
