First Avenger: Captain America movie

oh man just to hear Luke Cage shouting “Sweet Christmas” would be too good.

Never mind.

I wonder if this was just for fun or will actually makes sense in the story line.

And Triple H needs to play Thor

lol yeah. Rumors speculate Taye Diggs as Cage.

…and they want Brad Pitt for Thor.

Sorry for the late reply

Edit: just saw you put it up haha, oh well link x2 now

I hope they use Captain America’s WWII uniform from the avengers animated movie during WWII, it was great.

lol at all the comments…doesnt anyone know cap had two shields. the point one and the circular one…and im pretty sure his first shield wasnt made of vibranium.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=UcSuA6d-3RM How ever the outcome, it has to be better than this.:rofl::rofl:

You mean the one that looked like a webbed duck foot with a flag on it. Yeah, I doubt that one was made of vibranium. I wonder why if Tony was apparently creating an indestructible shield for The Cap’n, why he didn’t use the same indestructible element for his Iron Man suit.

Doesn’t matter I guess. Marvel can come up with an explanation for anything.

Well since this is my first time catching eye of the shield in Iron Man’s movie, it leads me to speculate that the “Avengers Initiative” Nick Fury’s mentions at the end credits means S.H.I.E.L.D had already recruited Captain America for the (first) Avengers team by the time he secretly met up with Tony.

I guess it would make sense to say that Tony Stark either met up with or knows about Captain America’s existence at the time the film is set in and, for whatever purpose, is helping out in upgrading his arsenal (be it for the “government military” or unknowingly for S.H.I.E.L.D). Then, after becomming a Super Hero himself, Tony becomes another recruit for the Avengers.

Excuse my thinking out loud.

well a working way for the shield and for captain america is to do this

idea 1. captain america originally met the current black panthers father or grandfather and got his ass kicked…but seeing how he fought valiently and gave him a shield made of vibranium…maybe his old shield broke in the battle. but somehow for w/e was lost when he was frozen and it was found by tony and being the nerd/obscene collector he is…collected it and cant figure out the formula of vibranium. insert new black panther.

So possibly, Cap’n broke the old shield, and somehow lost the vibranium shield befor or during the time he was frozen and Tony finds it (accidentally)?

Yeah, not understanding vibranium would explain why he wouldn’t have used it for his armor.

I can see Tony finding the shield and having no idea where it is from or who it belongs to. I like the idea of Tony and Steve not knowing each other until around when the Avengers team is formed, so Tony finding the Shield would work out better story wise imo.

Doubt we’ll get an official explanation of the shields cameo though.

Um, because it wasn’t about who did what to Tony Stark, it was just about the transformation of the man. It could have been that pack of 12 year olds at the end of City of God that killed the gang leader while shouting “Soviet Strike.” (Loved that movie)

Captain America is really about those darn rascally nazis and americans fighting and the birth of the superhuman soldier. Anything after WW2 and things just get complicated. The enemy starts to change from black to a sort of very dirty grey. And who wants to see Cap fight enemies that would could possibly care about. Even the terrorists in Iron Man were really followers of the Ten Rings and not of Extremist Islam.

This is awesome. I am really looking forward to this movie. :china:

Or maybe it was created by accident like in the comics, so it can’t be reproduced like in the comic.

Maxx: Cap had more than two shields.

Upon reading other boards, came across this guy. Never really watched much of the stuff he played in but he sure as hell looks like the captain. Jason Lewis

yeah he’s got the look, but he would need to bulk up to be a decent captain america.

There seems to be a serious shortage of decently buff white actors out there since Ahnald left the movie scene.

Does anyone know who is going to play black panther now that Snipes is in "trouble?"
My vote goes to Michael Jai White

They’ve said they’re building all the main Avengers’ (Iron Man, Hulk, Cap, Ant Man) stories up to climax in an Avenger’s team movie…

cap wasnt the first avenger…

Actually there have been talks of getting Djimon Hounsou(the guy from Amistad and Blood Diamond) to play the Black Panther instead.

Though Michael Jai White would be a damn good substitute.

On the Avengers movie: I really feel Marvel could throw in Hawkeye and Black Widow on the team without going into a big backstory on them. Hopefully in the Antman movie, they’ll throw Pym’s wife in there as Wasp.
