It’s more like Peri is the only horse lancer who doesn’t suck statwise. Keep in mind she’s rated over Camus, who has a beastly lance.

Coincidentally started a birthright play through just now. I realized I never actually finished fates. It’s strange, I played through all of the gba ones but both dates and awakening I’d play for a bit then restart.
I think Birthright overall had a better story than Awakening. Looking forward to Conquest.
I think for the next gen they should drop the marriage aspect. Find some other way to choose characteristics of new units. Maybe have a unit train a new unit? The reason for this is theres always going to have to be some absolutely ridiculous aspect to the story in order to make it make ANY sense for your child to fight alongside you.
The child unit thing is a revived mechanic from FE4 (my favorite) and was probably put in due to it. Unfortunately Awakening made it more popular than IE expect.
That and waifus.
I just dont like that it sticks 2 units together and once youve developed 1 relationship you arent really inclined to try different combos. Also makes you keep some weaker units in your battles that you could have swapped out with the new units.
True about the ridiculous story but I’d be lieing if gameplay wise pairing people together to make broken children wasn’t fun as fuck.
Just a shame you had to miss one of the children to marry Nyx, but fuck Arthur fake-ass All Might can be forever alone anyway.
Just pair Corrin with a child unit or one of the ones who don’t support with anyone else if you want all the kiddies.
Yeah but wanted to have Corrin wife up Nyx more than I wanted Percy to exist.
And again leaving Arthur forever alone is a bonus.
