Final Round 5v5 Regional Team Thread!

Listen, this isnt a game here. This is about picking the right man for the job. A true leader.
There’s no better player or person in Florida more qualified for the job than Jebailey.
This man has touched all of our hearts in some way since we’ve met him.

I’m going to share my JeMoment with you guys and hope others do as well.
When i first met JeBailey i was a good for nothing pad-player, I thought i was the worst player around. JeBailey worked me over like a ham sandwhich. He really beat the brakes off of me. I started to walk away in shame, never to play again… but, right there, in that moment, my JeMoment, Jebailey said something i’ll never forget:

“Hey kid, stop right there.” That’s all it took. I turned around and he looked at me with the eyes of a champion. He unplugged his stick, walked over to me and said "I’m going on vacation tomorrow, will you look after my stick for me?"
For the rest of that month, i practiced on that stick and became the stick player i am today. All thanks to Jebailey.

Jebailey Team Florida captain!

I like the way this guy thinks

Guys what are we talking about here? Flash Metroid is the only clear choice as captain. I would like to share with you a little unknown story about Peter. Its a tale of what happens when people try hard and inspire others to do the right thing. A tale that hits right into the hearts of all God’s creatures.

There was a potentially fatal bus accident that occurred in New York City in the summer of 2008. You see, the bus was crushing a lady who was 7 months pregnant. Seeing this tragedy Peter immediately got 10 people together to try and lift the bus, however the bus was just too heavy and all hope was nearly lost. Being that champion that Peter is, he tried all by himself to keep lifting the bus up, an impossible task. He screamed as he tried in vain to lift this buss off this pregnant woman to save the life of her and her unborn child. When the people saw this man trying with all of his might and soul to save this faceless stranger, they went and got more people to help. Eventually the bus was flipped off this pregnant lady.

She died 2 hours later following the cesarean-section birth of her son. She wanted to name it after Peter, but didn’t want that. When the news paper reporters finally caught up with Peter, he didn’t want the accolades, he wanted to remain anonymous.

Peter went home that summer a changed man, he thought to himself that he could never go back to NYC, knowing full well that’s where all the good comp would be, plus it was the home of his good friend and world champion Justin Wong. Fighting back his anxieties, he put FL on his back and returned to the city that had changed him so much. From then on he promised himself that he would only get better and represent his state to his full potential. Not just for the sake of the lives he has helped save, but to be a shinning example of what hard work and persistence can bring you.

So I leave you now, not with a “Flashy” avatar, or with empty promises of wins to come. I leave you with a reassurance that Flash Metroid is not only the better player he is also a better person, someone we can all look up to and depend on.

Thank You.

Now hold it right there Mr. I dont think cons have feelings too! I am just as much a jebeliever as you are. Let me share with you me Jemoment that I will forever cherish as the one of two moments in time that I will truly cherish. I was at a tournament right after I recently got my well toned ass handed to me by someone who wasn’t nearly as good as flashm or jebaily and right when I felt that I couldn’t get any more depressed a gust of wind hit my face as the broad back of a true champion passed by me. There he was, he had the eyes of a timid beast, his skin was as rough as a cats tongue. I knew immediately that this was a real man. He looked at me with those eyes that could make even a veteran hookers legs quiver. Then in a blink of an eye he pulled me close and whispered the words that would forever change things for me. He said “don’t spam shoryu’s your retarded looking scrub”. And from that point on I never played street fighter, instead I took watch over the young boys in the elementary schools who will one day become members of Jebaily’s army.
