Love the buffet idea. I would pay 10$ extra dollars, gladly. Is it possible to form a system of calling or texting a person if he/she has 2 minutes before disqualification? Now, I know usually his/her crew can do this when you announce it on the bullhorn, but what if his/her crew is gone, also? This will also help him getting in contact with the tourney staff on his/her ETA if he can or cannot make it.
We have a new idea on that one…it will all be announced shortly.
Also, the registration process will be sped up quite a bit as well, and the start times will pretty much be the start times this time around aside from minor delays, so no need for anyone to complain about those :lol:

Would you still allow someone’s entire entry fee to be waived if they bring a full setup? I would recommend still charging them the $10 to make sure you can cover the cost of the food.

The food is an extra deal. Set up doesn’t cover the food part. Of yea, I don’t want ANY flat screens at FR13 unless I buy them. Can’t have some of the stations not being used because of people complaining about lag. 19" or bigger tube tv+system+game is what is required to get the free entry in future FR’s.

I would need more than 10 people that played on your joint to verify that it doesn’t lag! We had stations that had laggy tv’s and people wouldn’t play on them. I appreciate everything people do to help out for FR every year. I just have to make sure it doesn’t lag.
Maybe this is a bad idea, but I figured it’d be better to see how it sounds than just keep it to mysef.
Larry, have you ever considered like, declaring an event (like some sort of 5on5, for example) that will take place during FR? I always thought that’d be interesting for FR. An example would be how Season’s Beatings likes to hold events that they announce early on.

MR. SHINBLANKA if ppl act up or show that they have no home training at the buffet toss they ass out and no refunds. its sad how ppl dont know how to act and ppl should get dq’ed if they just plainly throw there plates or cups on the ground. ppl need to be stronged armed when it comes to things like this. so in the future speaking if this idea does go well that there will be no problems. ppl will fear about acting up on the buffet line or room. this idea beats going to waffle house or tofu house. there is nothing better then this idea really but thats just my two cents.
also i can bring about two set ups one with a 360 and the other with a wii.

I’m down for an extra $10 on the door fee to have a buffet!! It’s a pain in the ass having to keep track of when I’m up next and then run out real quick for some food. Plus $10 for three meals, can’t complain 
As for streaming, I think I’ll have to side with iceman on that one and say no thanks.
People should come out if they wanna see the shit, otherwise they can buy the DVD when it’s done.
There is no damn reason Final Round should not gain sponsorship SOON, we were in a damn streamed move watch by over 3,000 + viewers for heavens sake, we had the LEAST amount of bracket,scheduling, rule changes, problems PERIOD, compared to most of the majors (If not all) in the United States.
