They were called Sodom and Gommorrah in the Japanese version of SF2V as well. And the guy Ryu fought wasn’t our Damnd either, phoenitcally his name sounded like “Mr. Damedoh!” but could of very well have meant to have been ‘Damned.’ (I think, I’ll double check.) Not the same Sodom or Damnd we know of. They also had a guy named Rose as part of the Ashura gang, but that was before our Rose was created.
Now I hate Street Fighter 2 V even more now. Oh well thanks for the info. At least SF2 V is better then the the crappy american tv series. I hope they make an SF 3 series some day. [they made a pa rapa the rapper. so one can dream. They could give the characters a much needed make over.
Rechecked my DVDs. In SF2V he’s Mr. Damned even in the Japanese version just as I said.
And the US SF Cartoon DVDs have no subtitles or are Close Captioned.
Final Fight
I just got done beating Final Fight one GBA. I love that game, it was really good. You think any other Final Fight gba games came out only in japan?
The best part of FF 1 was that they put the alpha versions of Guy and Cody in it. Much better then I remembered the SNES version being.
Side note @ Sano
Didn’t they metion a “Lee” in SF 2 V?
was Gomorrah (boss in NES Mighty Final Fight only) really there?
in us or japanese version?
how did he looked like?
We’ll probably be seeing Poison at some point too. She is Hugo’s manager.
(That’s right. I said “she”. Poison is a woman. She hasn’t always been, but she is now…)
Don’t remember.
No I don’t think so… They don’t mention Gen or Eagle either for that matter… and Sagat and Ryu are friends and we don’t see Sagat getting scarred or work with Bison (instead Bison (ashura) is the one that put him there)… Still it was better than the US cartoon…
I wonder what the final fight story arc will be about…
Yes, I do remember hearing the name at some point. He never actually appeared and was just some nameless jobber.
I wouldn’t read too much into it though, Lee is a fairly common name. Especially in martial arts movies.
A “Special” issue would be cool. Like a comic that’s as long as two issues that happens at the same time as the final few issues of the Alpha saga in the comics, but with the Final Fight guys doing Metro City, then joining up with the rest of the crew for the SF tornament or something. Another special based on SF1 would be cool too.
