Chapter 23: Tame the Invader!

Shun-Goku-Sattsu!! SnH Ryu hollered as his left hand caught Goukens gi, along with his right hand caught onto Goukens head!

SnH Ryus left hand was exactly right at where Goukens heart was!!

Then everything went white

Akuma still stood there silently, as if he had seen it for many times.

But, as for Ken, Sakura and Dan, they were still opening their mouth in surprise, and now, the white flash, made all three of them trying to cover up their eyes for protection.

The next thing they could hear was the hitting sounds, more like hundreds of punches per second!!

Oh my god!! God! OH my God!! Ken muttered as the three students fell onto the ground, and tried to defend the scary attacks.

The scary voices continued, with more POWs, BOOMs, BANGs, and other punching sounds.

It was pretty scary, especially the time you are facing the god of death, and he had his hand on you

Finally, the white light dimmed.

WhWhat happened? Dan was the first one to pick his head up to see what exactly had happened.

Sakura and Ken picked their heads up too. The first thing they saw was hell.

The courtyard in front of once used to be a temple, was not green anymore.

The courtyard was now red and brown. The trees were covered up with red blood, the grassland in the courtyard were stained by blood, of Goukens.

Akuma still stood at the border of the courtyard silently. It seemed that he wasnt affected by the attack at all.

At the middle of the courtyard, stood SnH Ryu. His labored breath could be heard clearly. His head was looking down, both of his hands were down. His eyes were still red, glowing red, like two red fireballs.

On his back, a Chinese character still could be seen, and it was Destroy!!

Beside SnH Ryu, lied a person. He was breathless. And red stains were all over him.

Was he Gouken??

Would Gouken, Ryus master, die in Ryus hand??

SnH Ryus breath was still labored. It was like running a hundred kilometers without stopping.

The fight ended abruptly, with SnH stood victory over Gouken.

But, no The fight was not over yet!!

FFuck! A groan came. The groan came from the body beside SnH Ryu!!!

SnH Ryu gave reaction toward the groan, the red-burning eyes somewhat showed sense of surprise.

The body moved. The hands started to move, as he was struggling to stand up.

FFuck! You Fucker!! The groan continued. The body managed to get to kneeling posture from lying.

Gouken was still alive!? God! Gouken was still alive after Shun-Goku-Sattsu!? It was a miracle!!

Yes! Gouken was still alive!! But the body was far recognizable. The body was now more like a zombie.

You YouNearly killed me The zombie hissed. Yes! The zombie was Gouken!!

SnH Ryus eyes were focused on Gouken, who now looked like a zombie.

SnH Ryu again gave out another loud holler, as he was again ready for another wave of attacks!!!

Green smoke kept flowing out from SnH Ryus right hand, yes, SnH Ryu was going to launch Messatsu Gou Shoryu!!!

But, something stopped him. Two hands caught SnH Ryus right hand!

Another two hands caught onto SnH Ryus Waist!! At the same time, another two hands caught onto SnH Ryus feet!!

It was Ken, Sakura, and Dan, who made their last attempt to stop SnH Ryu in doing further damages!!

Yes! After all, all three of them still respected the Master. It was fortunate that Ryu didnt die in that cliff It would be better if they can compromise.

But SnH Ryu wont compromise. All he could think was KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL!

So, the three students attempting wont be successful, they might even become the prey of another wave of attacks, even Shun-Goku-Sattsu!!

Stop it!! Why are you doing this!? Ken tried all his might in holding SnH Ryus right hand from doing further damage on Gouken.

Stop it!! Sakura was still holding SnH Ryus feet, from her face, Akuma could see Sakuras face, full of tears.

As for Dan, both of his arms were around SnH Ryus waist. His feet tried to pull him away from Gouken!!

The three students were desperate in trying to save Gouken, and also Ryu himself!

HOWL~~~~!! SnH Ryu gave out a loud howl, and threw Ken away with only his right hand!! Ken fell onto a tree with a loud bang!!

SnH Ryu then moved his body and threw away Dan and Sakura away. They were also thrown onto other trees at the courtyard!!

Ugh! Ken groaned as he head-first landed onto the ground!!

SnH Ryu again turned his focus on Gouken, his teeth were grumbling. His right hand again was filled out with green smoke. Yes! He was about to attack again!!

But this time, Akuma stopped him. It was Akuma who gave SnH Ryu Messatsu Gou Shoryu with Blue Ki!!

It sent SnH Ryu up to the air, and SnH Ryu spat out blood as he was on the air!!

Why did Akuma help Gouken this time? After all, Akuma was still Goukens little brother. Akuma doing so, was just simply save Goukens ass. But, his true intention was still not yet known.

Chapter 23: Tame the Invader! continued…

Now SnH Ryu was injured badly, yet he still managed stand up!! But it gave Ken, Sakura, and Dan enough time to get a hold of SnH Ryu again!

This time, Sakura held onto SnH Ryus right hand, Dan caught onto SnH Ryus left hand. This time, Ken stood in front of SnH Ryu.

Kens face now showed determination instead of fear. His face showed full determination to save Ryu from doing further mistakes!!!

GRR~~~!! SnH Ryu growled as he made another intentions in breaking free from both Sakura and Dan.

Pow! Ken punched SnH Ryu!!

Fuck it! Wake up!! Wake the fuck up!! Ryu!! What the fuck had happened to you!? Ken screamed as both of his hands held Ryus gi. Ken shook SnH Ryus gi hardly, as he was desperate in trying to reach Ryus mind.

But SnH Ryus mind was somehow locked from outside.

SHUN-GOKU-SATTSU!! A loud voice came.

Fuck! Ken screamed as he made to his defense position. Both Dan and Sakura let go of SnH Ryu as well, as they were scared that SnH Ryu launched this attack again!

But It wasnt SnH Ryu who launched this attack.

Ugh! A loud groan came, as the whole courtyard went white again.

But, the white light didnt last long. And the damages wasnt as powerful as last time.

What had happened?

This time, Ken was the first one standing up, he was unharmed from this attack.

What happened? Ken asked as he stood up. Sakura and Dan stood up too.

SnH Ryu still stood there, his eyes somewhat showed sense of surprise and shock. Did that mean

It wasnt SnH Ryu who used Shun-Goku-Sattsu!!

That means

Akuma?

Then, who was the victim?

The Shoto Temple courtyard still looked the same. But a thing changed everything.

Gouken, this was the favor I wanted to do long time ago. After all, I am not the raging demon who seek death, I am Gouki, Goukens little brother, who seek to beat over the older brother, Gouken! Akuma mumbled.

And it seemed that I have done it. Akuma ended the sentence. This sentence lured all Ken, Sakura and Dans attention.

Did that mean

Akuma killed Gouken with Shun-Goku-Sattsu?

God Gouken must be dead, considering the fact that he had been hit by Shun-Goku-Sattsu TWICE!

On Akumas back, the students could see a Chinese character, God.

God Gouken died under his little brothers hand, was this long-time conflict, or, a rivalry between Gouken and Gouki??

Was Gouki infected by the Raging Demon, Akuma? Or, it was Gouki who had his mind within all the time?

And, was it Gouki, who intended to use Shun-Goku-Sattsu??

Or, was it Akuma, who was the demon with thirst of blood and death, killed Gouken for the revenge of the demons bitter pastime?

Again, this question, could only be answered by Gouki/Akuma himself.

And, the Chinese character meant a lot of things. First, it could mean Sky, Unlimited, or God. In this situation, which did this word meant to show us?

Beside Akuma, there lied a corpse.

Yes, a corpse, for sure. It wasnt moving at all. It wasnt even breathing. Theres even no heartbeat. Yes! Goukens dead for sure.

Aaaarhh!! A scream came, it came from SnH Ryu. SnH Ryu was screaming, for what?

For pain? If it was for pain, then which part?

At the same time, SnH Ryu fell on to the ground with lost of balance. Both of his hands holding his head, like he had a mega headache that he couldnt handle.

Ryu!! What happened? Ken heard the loud poundings from SnH Ryu.

Arg SnH Ryu continued his loud groaning. He began to roll on the ground, like he was trying to tear his head off from his body!

Within SnH Ryus mind, it was a fierce battle between himself and another himself! A battle of the good mind and the evil mind.

Yes! SnH Ryu was struggling to save himself! What motivated him to do so?

It was Akumas Shun-Goku-Sattsu who motivated Ryu within SnH Ryu!

Yes, SnH Ryu could only think KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL!

But this time, he saw god of death drawing near himself. Then the next thing he could think was Was I going to die?

It was what changed SnH Ryu, and also motivated Ryus mind, and try to fight against the power of Sattsui no Hadou!

Will Ryu succeed?

Must Destroy More Souls!! SnH Ryu mumbled as he continued his struggling.

Apparently, Ryus mind was losing.

Suddenly, Ken punched SnH Ryus face!!

Wake the fuck up! Ryu!! What the fuck happened to the Ryu I know!? Ken screamed.

SnH Ryu suddenly stopped from struggling What had happened anyways?

Akuma still stood beside Goukens corpse silently, as if he was observing what was going on.

Hey Ryu? Ken spoke again this time.

SnH Ryu didnt reply, but there was some obvious changes on him.

His gi returned from purple to white. His purple ribbon on his head, returned to red. As for his eyes, it wasnt glowing with red. His muscles were once tense, now relaxed.

Ryu was back!!

But Ryu was unconscious.

Halt! Nobody move! A womans voice came.

Huh? Sakura turned her head to the source of the voice.

A helicopter dropped from the sky, and landed onto the courtyard.

Wheres the so-called invader?? The woman continued. It was Chun-Li.

Invader? Ken asked. He didnt know what had happened during the one-year period!!

All Ken knew was the fact that Ryu had nearly killed Gouken, and in the next minute, Akuma killed Gouken.

Chapter 24: Weapon X

She dies or you die! Sabertooth yelled again as his left hand captured Jubilees neck, with another hands claw pointing at Jubilees neck, as to threaten Wolverine.

Yes! Jubilee was Sabertooths hostage.

Wolverine couldnt do anything, if he attacks, Jubilee die. If Jubilee must not die, then Wolverine must die.

Come on! Are you a wimp? Sabertooth taunted.

It seems theres no other option Wolverine finally began. He was still wearing casual clothes. He didnt have his mask and custom on.

But as for Sabertooth, he has yellow fur, and claws, as if he was actually a beast. To be clear, Sabertooth should be classified as half man, half beast.

Oh, no other options? You think this babe must die? Tsk tsk tsk tsk! Shes quite cute, I must say. Sabertooth again taunted, but he draw his claw even closer to Jubilees neck.

Exactly, Sabertooth was threatening Wolverine. Or, actually, Sabertooth was forcing Wolverine to suicide!

I have no other choice F. Wolverine suddenly sprang out his claw from both of his hands! Was he going to suicide?? The claws were very close to Wolverines neck!!

A. Wolverines eyes were now blank, as if he wouldnt care who he was going to attack!! After all, Wolverine wasnt going to suicide, but attack Sabertooth, or Jubilee??

T. Wolverines body flow out smokes, red smokes, as if himself was a red candle. It implied that Wolverine was possessing Red ki!

A. Wolverines sudden dash caught Sabertooth off-guard. Before Sabertooth could react, Wolverine was already behind Sabertooth.

L. Wolverines right hand claw stung into Sabertooths back. Sabertooth yelled out in pain. Sabertooth finally let go of Jubilee, who had been his hostage for quite a period of time. Then, Wolverine connected the hit with another slash with his left hand on Sabertooths back. Sabertooth yelped out another loud groan as he staggered away from Jubilee.

CLAW! Wolverine again connected with more hits on Sabertooths back, and finished him off with a hard double slash!!!

Sabertooth yelped in pain, and ran out into the cave he dug before the attack.

Weapon X! I wont give up now, we will meet again!! Sabertooth yelped before he went out from sight into the cave.

Oh, yeah, we will see about that! Wolverine replied back as he walked to Jubilee.

Are you all right? Wolverine asked.

Jubilee didnt reply. Instead, she gave Wolverine a hard slap across the face!!!

Ow! What was that for?? Wolverine yelped in pain.

You dummy!! Jubilee continued her crying, leaving Wolverine in his embarrassing position.

What exactly had happened??

Maybe only Jubilee could answer this question.

But theres a thing thats obvious: Wolverine saved Jubilee, and one of the invader was being expelled.

Then, how did Gambit and Juggernaut do?

Huston, Gambit thinks Gambit got a problem Gambit muttered as he ran out of cards with Royal Flush for forty times.

Heh Heh Juggernaut snickered as he drew closer toward Gambit, as if he was prepared to hold Gambit and squeeze him tightly!!

There were no other weapon available within Gambits sight, all Gambit could do was wait and die.

And thats a pretty bad thing.

Juggernauts body was big beyond imagination, to be clear, he was more like a giant!

And observing Juggernauts body closely, hes more like a fat-ass covered up with lots of heavy and dumb armors.

Actually, you are wrong. Juggernaut was once Professor Xs step brother in the past time. In about years ago, he overheard a legend named the Power of Juggernaut, and he just simply become more powerful with this kind of legend.

After all, Juggernaut was only a regular person, with superior armor and strength.

Gambit was still in trouble, facing a person five times bigger than himself, and also five times stronger than himself.

But, a smile came onto Gambits face!!

After all, Gambit still got a good plan. Gambit noted as he relaxed himself from fighting stance.

Oh? Are you saying that you are prepared to die? I will help you. Juggernaut simply made a fast dash toward Gambit, in preparing to crush Gambit onto the wall!!

Gambits smile faded right away. Gambit then side stepped quickly in order to dodge Juggernauts harsh attack, then

Gambits right hand then caught onto Juggernauts helmet!!

This, will send you back to the hell! Gambit screamed as he focused Red ki onto his right hand, and forced the kinetic energy into Juggernauts helmet!!

What was Gambit doing?? Kill Juggernaut?? Kill Professor Xs step brother?

No, Gambit knew Juggernauts weak spothead, so, Gambit planned to force the helmet to blow up, so that Juggernaut will run in pain.

And apparently, it was working.

Juggernauts helmet become totally red, and smoke came out from the helmet

In the next second, it blew up.

Ow!!! Juggernaut screamed as he made his escape.

Looks like the base defense was successful.

But What about Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue, against twenty of Sentinels?? TWENTY OF THEM!!

It wasnt pretty at all.

Chapter 24: Weapon X continued…

Cyclops and the troop had no choice, but fight off those dumb, made to obey, and senseless robots.

But, fighting against twenty of them at once wasnt an easy task at all.

If they attack one of the Sentinels, then another one will come in aid for the one that was attacked.

If they attempted to attack all of them at once, their power might not be enough destroy all of them at once!

What choice do they have?

Cyclops finally decided to attack at all his might with third Mega Optic Blast!!

He first tried this Mega Optic Blast on Gouki (Akuma) as he treated him as the invader, but missed him. The second time, he attacked Magneto with this move, but he simply reflected it back toward him!

Meaning that this move had failed twice, and he wanted to try this dangerous move again?

But, Sentinels were robots; hence, they are extremely weak against lightening. Hence, Cyclops Mega Optic Blast may not cause much effects on them!

It would be the only way to destroy all of them once for all, with Storms Lightening Storm!!

But it wouldnt be necessary.

Why?

TEMMA GOU ZANKU! A scream came from far place.

In the next second, nineteen projectiles dashed right toward the Sentinels!! It came from at least ten kilometers away from them!!

But, it seemed that all nineteen projectiles were not weakened by traveling the long distance! How?

Would it again because that Gouki had Blue ki??

Yes! It was the only explaination!

Blue ki was the third strongest ki level of all; and Akuma possess such ki level, and same thing went for Magneto, M. Bison, and Gouken as well!

BOOM! BANG! BOOM! The nineteen projectile all made direct hit onto all the Sentinels in the battlefield! And all of them simply just blown right through nineteen Sentinels head!!

Not only these projectiles destroyed Sentinels heads, but also dashed right toward Cyclops and the X-Men!!!

Ugh! Cyclops dodged this move, in nick of time!! One of the projectiles just touched Cyclopss chest!!

Rogue and Storm also dodged this move, barely.

This move caused vast amount of smoke and dust flowing all around the battlefield.

All three X-Men covered up their faces, in order to protect the dust from inhaling.

It seemed that Akuma could destroy all Sentinels without any problem at all!

Bang, all nineteen Sentinels fell onto the ground, headless.

Thats a pretty scary sight

Fortunately, they are only robots, if they were real human, what would happen?

That would be compared with SnH Ryus Shun-Goku-Sattsu

To be clear, if the Sentinels were human, it would be more like a hell.

And thats a bad thing.

Nineteen down, one to go. Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue heard this sentence. The source of the voice was nowhere to be found.

But, at least, Akuma helped the three people. But, on what purpose?

And, is Akuma the raging demon, or is he Gouki? Is he Gouki, Goukens little brother?

If he was Akuma, the raging demon, then he would also kill Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue along the way!

But, he didnt.

If he was Gouki, Goukens little brother, then he wouldnt do such things in unfriendly way? Since Temma Gou Zanku almost hit Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue along too!!

Gouki was once a gentle fighter, who would rather not kill an ant. What changed him was a demon named Akuma.

Again, perhaps only Akuma could answer this question himself. Or, would Gouki answer this question?

But, at least, he solved Cyclops, Storm, and Rogues problem.

Theres only one Sentinel to kill, and that would be an easy task, all right.

But The nineteen Sentinels stood up!!! They stood up headless!!!

God! The nineteen of them should be destroyed, but they just stood up!! How??

The nineteen Sentinels were like headless zombies, waking without balance, and drawing near the three fighters!!!

Hhow?? Rogue couldnt believe that the once dead Sentinels actually revived!!!

No matter what, they are weakened, all we have to do was finish them off again!! Storm noted as she started chanting the curse for the Thunder Storm!!

At the same time, the sky darkened with black clouds. In the next second, a lightening bolt struck onto Storms head, as if Storm was the source of the thunderstorm!!

I summon the god of the storms, and I command the thunders to strike the invaders! Strom chanted as her hands waved from her hips to her head; then extended both punches toward the Sentinels.

Just then, the lightening bolts charged from around Storms head, and suddenly formed a gigantic thunder-dragon!!!

The thunder-dragon hollered as it opened its mouth as preparing to swallow all the preys in its sight!!

And Attack! Storm commanded as her extended punches suddenly swung open!

The thunder-dragon simply obeyed Storms command; and suddenly swiped right toward all twenty damaged Sentinels!!!

BOOM! The nineteen Sentinels were dimmed by the harsh lights that came out from the thunder dragon!!

It was daytime, but yet the thunder dragons light was way brighter than the sun!!

This kind of harsh light forced both Cyclops and Rogue cover up their eyes with their arms, in order to protect their eyes from going blind!!

Seconds later, loud explosions could be heard; from the Sentinels.

Finally, as the lights were dimmed, all was left over was the torn-up Sentinels broken bodies. And the electric were still zapping on the remaining.

Yes! Storm had killed all the Sentinels with only Thunder Storm!!

For now, the base was saved. But what was Magnetos purpose of this base attack?

Something wasnt right!!

Why did Magneto just flee after he summoned twenty Sentinels??

And where did Magneto go??

Yes!! Something was wrong!!

Inside a heavy-armored room, full of control panels and computers, obviously, it was a maintenance room, of what?

As soon as I press this button Everything will be gone!! Everything in the X-Mens base!! Magneto gave out evil laughter as he continued decoding the security codes on one of the keyboards in the control panel!!

What??

Magneto was inside the base?? When did he get there?

And what was he doing?? Was he trying to self-destruct the base?!

God, it wasnt pretty at all!!

And all members of X-Men had no idea that Magneto was inside the base!!!

Good to knwo what happened to the X-men, was starting to wonder what was gonna happen to Gambit like 10 chapters back hehe.

One thing though, this fic doesnt have a set timeline right? It seems to me it doesnt, but if it does, then how was Gouki/Akuma in two places at once? With Gouken and the X-men?

Also, are you gonna include Thanos and Venom, Tron-Bon, Serv Bot, Omega Red, Silver Samurai and the rest im forgetting in your fic? I would like to see how you incorporate them into the fic. Also, what did go on with Spider-Man after they beat fake Zero, and where fighting Dr.Doom?

Milliardo, just a few things as constructive criticism.

  1. I only read the last 3 chapters, or segments of chapters, so this might be not so viable a question.
    Who’s perspective is this from?

  2. The writing is very… segmented. They almost seem like a compilation of quasi-sentence fragments. It might just be your structure. Try condensing your sentences into blocks of paragraph, consisting of all related sentences. For instance:

  1. Be careful with repitition. I make the same mistake often without realizing it. For example:

but, fighting against twenty of them at once wasnt an easy task at all. If they attack one of the Sentinels, then another one will come in aid for the one that was attacked - if they attempted to attack all of them at once, their power might not be enough destroy all of them at once!

An example of another way to do this would be something like:

but, defeating twenty Sentinels would prove to be a difficult task. The machinations never allow for one of the units to engage single-handedly in battle, so the fight would quickly become a united Sentinel effort versus a lone X-Man attempt. Then, the looming question was, were the remaining X-Men even powerful enough to stop the horde?

4) Just a tad more vivid description. We can’t see the blood or feel the pain, but if have something to link it to in our mind as we read, we can conjure the image from your writing as opposed to straining to make out the mental image ourselves. It takes the attention away from the writing.

Well, Are you saying, “narrator”? If so, then there’s a narrator in this fiction. The narrator is “nobody”… If you can know what I am talkin’ about… -__-|||

Well, this kind of suggestion is quite true, I must admit, yet I believe this is the way I write, the style of writing… (This kind of writing is quite popular in Chinese, and I think if I write this fiction in English with Chinese style… what would the fiction like?)

In answering this question, I believe that was the part I need improvement at. Before the crash, FistsOfFury noted the same thing to me. And after I continue writing, I learned two weak spots.
1–> I lack vocabulary. That’s why there’s repetition like you noted.
2–> I lack the feelings. I am still having trouble in expressing the mood and the feeling for each character.

In sum: Your critisim are very useful for me, in my improvements.
(This fiction would be my first fiction in my life, and I had no experience writing in any sorts, and ur critisim is very useful! :smiley: ) I will try to improve the fiction in the way you noted. Thanks again!! :slight_smile:

The reason why I ask what perspective this is from, is because it SEEMS like third-person omniscient, but in the last portion you have, it seems more through the eyes of Cyclops, but still third person. You should just be aware of shifting points of view like that - sometimes, it can distract from the reading. For instance, a really obivous point of view shift would be

I was there sitting in a room with only Laura, but the more Brian thought about it, it wasn’t so bad.

Like, no one would actually write something like that, but I shifted from first person to third person the same sentence, which, as you can see, makes no sense. That’s NOT what you’re doing at all, not even close, but it’s just an example how point-of-view shifts can confuse readers.

As far as your structure goes, that is okay if it is your style - but, I am just noting that having a structural style like that seems to split up your ideas and make your story choppy sometimes. It sounds stupid, but structure can actually affect how someone pictures the story mentally. I suggest it would be better overall to adapt a traditional English structure for your writing here - I know in Mandarin it’s probably totally different (or Cantonese, or whatever dialect you might use).

Lack vocabulary? That’s no problem. Cheat. Write your stuff out in word first, and use the thesaurus. Like who’s going to care anyway? That’s what I do sometimes when I can’t find another word.

You have the imagination for it, which is the most important thing. I can’t write anything but short stories because my imagination isn’t big enough to fit in a fiction type writing style.

Oh, I believe I know what made you feel perplexed about my style…

Well, believe it or not, it was a new style of writing I made up, to be clearly, It would be “Author Narrative Omniscent”… I know there’s no such style of writing, but I think it would be worth a try…

Technically, I say “Author Narrative-Omniscent” is more like “Third Person Omniscent” but yet I still put the word “I”, or the tone that made readers think there’s “I”…
For example, From Chapter 24… There’s a part…

In this part, It was more like, “makin’ the readers to feel surprised” philosophy, and the sentence “God! The nineteen of them should be destroyed, but… They just stood up!! How??” have the tone of the “first person narrative”. The purpose of this sentence, was to lure the readers to feel surprised. (And the “speaker” was the author myself, not any character in the fiction.)

As in matter of fact, I am still developing a better way in this kind of “Author-Narrative Omniscent”… In frequent occasions, I felt that “Author-Narrative Omniscent” was a Mega-:lame: idea… But I just gave it a try.

Chapter 25: The Doom Day

Okay, I want to fight with you!

Why do you want to fight with me?

Because I want to win a battle, I want to improve myself!

Okay, but are you sure that you will win?

Uh Nope, I am not sure if I will win or not.

Why?

Because I do not know how you fight.

What if you do?

Then I would develop a way to counter the way you fight.

Thats correct.

But, in order to counter the way you fight, I must also find your weak spot.

Thats the point. You must know the opponents weak spot.

If you dont know the opponents weak spot, then you might have no chance to win the battle.

Thats right. For example, Icemans weak spot would be fire-based attacks, like Kens Shoryuken.

Very true.

If you want to win a fight, you must know the opponents weak spot, and also know what the opponents fighting style.

Then you must develop away to counter such fighting style.

This way, you can win the battle without any problem.

After all, if you want to fight a fight you cannot lose, you must study before you proceed the battle.

This is the point; weak spot is a very important knowledge.

… Ugh! Zero groaned again as he helped X up.

They were inside Hs Headquarter, well, half destroyed Hs Headquarter.

Both Zero and X were badly injured, from Dr. Dooms fierce attack. But they managed to go through this kind of hell.

Now, their only hope was Spider Man, who announced that he knew Dr. Dooms weak spot.

It seemed, that theres only one person can fight off Dr. Doom; and he was Spider Man.

Both Zero and Xs fighting abilities were badly damaged that was beyond repairable; unless they can return to the base, and get an extra new weapon.

But their base was at least thousands of miles away from Hs Headquarter. It means that it would be a long way before they actually get home safe and sound.

Everything will be okay Zero muttered to X as he barely hold up wounded X, and tried to walk out from the battling area.

X didnt reply but his eyes were closed because he fainted. Fainted from what? From Dr. Dooms Electric Cage!

But, X was still alive, the only thing was the fact that X was in coma.

It didnt matter. What mattered the most was a question unanswered: Will Spider Man beat Dr. Doom?

Perhaps we will know in the next minute.

POW!! A punch sound came, it was Spider Man.

Spider Man made a quick dash toward Dr. Doom without warning.

It seemed that Dr. Doom was slow in reaction. Otherwise, he would be able to defend such attack! If Spider Man was fighting against Ken; the same attack wont work!

POW! BANG! A fierce punch landed onto Dr. Dooms face; then with another low roundhouse that hit onto Dr. Dooms waist.

Ugh!! Dr. Doom yelped in pain, loudly. It seemed that he was actually weak in defense against physical melee too!

These attacks were like a sledgehammer hitting him! If Dr. Doom had Kens defense, it would only like a soft wooden stick hitting onto him.

It was an obvious weak spot; and Spider Man took advantage of it.

Spider Man didnt stop here, he again connected his attacks with his elbow onto his stomach, then combo-ed the attack with hard kick again on his stomach!!!

Again, Dr. Doom yelled in pain, even louder. The blood came out from the mouth, even with the mask on!!

Yes! After all, Dr. Doom was still a human, and he couldnt handle hard attacks. Spider Mans attack was strong enough to cause internal damage on him!

Spider Man continued his assault on him as if Spider Man was looking for revenges

Was it Dr. Doom who killed Uncle Ben?? Perhaps. As far as we are concerned, Uncle Ben was killed by a unknown murder, and it led Peter Parker himself destined to bring justice to the world!

Just then, Spider Man caught Dr. Dooms neck with his right arm; along with his feet rapidly pounding onto Dr. Dooms chest for at least twenty times before he let go of Dr. Doom!!

As Spider Man landed onto the ground after jumping off from Dr. Dooms chest, he turned his body around, and got to the fighting stance quickly.

Doing so can prevent Dr. Dooms sudden attacks. Quite true; but would Dr. Doom still have the energy to fight again? Considering all the hits Spider Man made contacted on him

Surprisingly, Dr. Doom managed to stand without falling down!! But yet his mouth was still flowing red fresh blood, along with his armor disfigured seriously.

Dr. Dooms right hand kept on covering on his chest; it seemed that he was seriously injured after all. From his eyes, Spider Man could sense that he was hurt badly.

Chapter 25, The Doom Day continued…

Yes! Dr. Doom was losing. Spider Man was right about a thing: Dr. Dooms weak spot was actually physical attacks, not plasma attacks.

It was why Xs Plasma Destroyer made no effect on Dr. Doom even-though this plasma destroyer had destroyed half of the whole Hs headquarters!!

Dr. Doom still struggled to his stance; but his eyes also showed his determinacy to continue the fight.

Checking Dr. Dooms recovery, Spider Man decided to start the second wave of attacks!

Spider Man first jumped onto the wall then made a hard dash right toward Dr. Doom on the air!

In return, Dr. Doom jumped onto the air and fired Photon Array!! This attack was like firing multiple purple lasers. With these lasers fired, all of them formed raindrops onto the opponent!

Rains of Photon lasers were charging onto Spider Man, as if they were prepared to blow Spider Man to smithereens!

At the same time, Spider Man was still dashing toward Dr. Doom, and now he was surprised by Dr. Dooms sudden attacks!!

Now, it was Spider Mans turn to be the prey. He was watching the Photon Arrays drawing closer and closer.

Gwahaha!!! After all, my power still surpasses yours!! Wahahahaha!!! Dr. Doom gave out loud evil laughter as both of his hands were extended, as if he was ready to capture Spider Mans soul!!

Thats right; Dr. Doom was the predator now.

Fortunately, Spider Man was fast enough to throw a web string that attached onto the ceiling; Spider Man then pulled himself away from Dr. Doom.

In the next .1 second later, the Photon Array just missed Spider Mans feet!!

Spider Man gave out a sigh of relieve as he was being pulled away by his web string that was attached to the ceiling. But then he just noticed that Dr. Doom gave out another wave of attack without noticing!!

Dr. Doom fired another wave of Photon Array, but this time, he altered the angle of attack!

The arrows of Photon were now heading on Spider Mans direction!!

Spider Man had no choice but to fire out another web string to pull him to another direction.

But if things continued this way, Spider Mans web storage would run out sooner or later!

Sooner or later, your web shooter will run outta of webs!! Then, I will finish you once for all!!! Dr. Doom screamed as he continued firing the arrays onto Spider Man.

This time, I am gonna attack!! Spider Man screamed back. But, what could he do?

Spider Man the pulled the web string so hard that pulled himself all the way to the ceilings; he then used his hand to attach onto the ceilings. What was he doing?

Suddenly, Spider Man turned his head and faced Dr. Doom! In the next second, he was nowhere to be found!!

Where did he go?

You can run but you cant hide!! Dr. Doom yelled as he continued firing the Photon Array onto the ceilings.

But his attacks were useless.

Because Spider Man was right behind Dr. Doom!!!

Spider Mans right feet was extended, as he was prepared to make a baseball slide onto Dr. Dooms back!!

In the next second, Dr. Doom lost his balance, and started to fall.

Everything were like slow motion, Dr. Doom was falling with face down, and he was about to hit the ground hard

But Right before Dr. Dooms body could make contact with the ground; second hit came with a fierce punch that landed onto Dr. Dooms stomach!!

Yes! Spider Man suddenly appeared right below Dr. Doom, with his right hand extended to punch Dr. Dooms stomach!! In the next second; Spider Man vanished.

Dr. Doom spat out blood from under his mask, his internal injury became even worse.

This punch sent Dr. Doom up onto the air!! Again, everything in Zero and Xs eye were like slow motion; moving like everything were being replayed on the television in slow motion!

Spider Man didnt give Dr. Doom time to recover from being hit, he simply connected the third hit with his left knee that landed onto Dr. Dooms face!! After that; Spider Man was again nowhere to be found!!

Fortunately, Dr. Doom had the metal mask on; this mask barely prevented Dr. Doom from nose-bleeding!

On the air, Dr. Dooms body was forced to rotate around for 180 degrees because of Spider Mans knee, yet everything were still too fast for Dr. Doom to react!

In the next half second, Dr. Dooms waist was being hit by Spider Mans elbow!! Where did Spider Man come from? And, how did he vanish right after he made contact with Dr. Doom??

This hit seriously disfigured Dr. Dooms metal armor; and the armor now shaped like a horizontal V!!

Suddenly; Spider Man made his final contact on Dr. Dooms back head with a hard kick!!!

This hit not only broke Dr. Dooms mask, but also sent him flying horizontally at least ten meters before he hit the wall at least several meters high!!

This impact made a giant dent on the wall; even this wall was made from pure iron!!!

Both Zero and X were shocked; did Spider Man actually won the fight?

X had nearly destroyed the whole headquarter; and made no damage on Dr. Doom; now Spider Man finished him with ease?

Dr. Doom remained on the wall, without moving, apparently, he fainted.

Yes, thats right, he fainted.

He fainted because of the attacks he absorbed from Spider Mans fast-paced attack and the deadly moveMaximum Spider, which had nearly tore Dr. Doom into halves!!

Perhaps, it was the importance of the word weak spot.

Now, Dr. Doom was finished once for all, but was he dead?

Perhaps not, but theres a thing that can be sure of, that is, Dr. Doom was seriously injured, both inside and outside.

And, now, perhaps Spider Man didnt know that, it took Dr. Doom about several months to recover from these kinds of wounds, and it also took more than two years before he could fight again.

And, now, both X and Zero were saved. It was a good thing that both of them survived.
