I have a feeling it’ll likely be an old school villain, since the “appreciate” part seems to insinuate such. Most Marvel fans only appreciate certain villains, so I doubt it’s going to be someone not familiar with a lot of fans. At least we know he won’t be an original boss, like Apiss.

Final Boss should be a 3-man team. I propose Stan Lee, Akira Yasuda and Keiji Inafune.
Seconding the Myria idea. Breath of Fire is one of the most ignored series when it comes to games like this. Having Myria in the game would represent it in a big way, pun not intended.
Going to have to agree with Galactus for the Marvel side, though if giants are in, he could be playable. If he is, then Sentry/Void is obv. the better choice for a boss.

I wanna go with the Breath of Fire idea, its very a original, well conceived series of games, and has a good following, plus they’re RPG characters!!! Thats something new to have in a fighting game. -and Ryu VS Ryu would be cool
People have been talking about Cosmic Characters, but What about Marvel’s Mystical threats? The Mystic villains are just as strong(in some cases even stronger) than the cosmics.
Marvelman(aka Miracleman) is a completely different character. Also, why would Stan lee be a boss? Why would he threaten two universes?
